Angelina Jolie's love life has remained a bit of a mystery since she split from Brad Pitt in 2016. While she has been linked to several men over the years, she has rarely ever spoken about her dating life - until now. Jolie lifted the lid during an interview with Yahoo Entertainment - admitting she has not dated in 10 years. 'To be candid, I haven't dated since I divorced a decade ago,' she told the outlet while promoting her new film Couture. 'So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centered in my life if I'm focusing on my children, my family.' Now 51, Jolie is open to reassessing her approach to life after being put through the wringer in a way that has 'broken' her 'a little bit.' 'So yes, things are changing, but in a way I didn't expect. It doesn't feel like I'm 51 and starting to think of being older. I'm thinking I have to live again. Be free again,' she also told the magazine. 'In a way that maybe life has broken me a little bit.' While Jolie has been single since her split, her ex Pitt has been dating actress Ines de Ramon since 2022.Jolie and Pitt's split devolved into a bitter, eight-year long divorce battle that finally ended last year. The former power couple separated in 2016 after two years of marriage (but a total of 11 years together) and their divorce was finalized in 2024. After the divorce, a source said Jolie wasn't in a rush for anything 'serious' at the moment. 'It's hard for her to trust men after what she went through with Brad,' a source told Us Weekly. 'She hasn't sworn off men, but she's not looking for anything serious right now.' The insider added that the Malificent star 'doesn't think she'll ever get over the trauma' of her relationship with Pitt, reinforcing that 'she's not looking for love right now.'Jolie and Pitt, 62, share six children: three biological—Shiloh, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17—and three adopted—Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, and Zahara, 21.A source close to Jolie previously described the divorce process as a nightmare for her and her family.'These last eight years have been such a horrendous time for her and her family,' a different source told People. A source close to Pitt, however, pushed back on Jolie's claims, telling People, 'Jolie has engaged in one-sided attacks for the past eight years, including a never-ending distortion of facts and projecting their own behavior onto others, causing tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family.' The former couple, famously known as 'Brangelina,' signed off on their divorce paperwork in December 2024. Jolie's attorney, James Simon, told DailyMail.com that the actress is relieved to have closed this chapter. 'Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,' Simon said at the time. 'More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,' he added.

Angelina Jolie is 'looking forward' to her upcoming trial with ex-husband Brad Pitt amidst the former couple's ongoing legal battle over their French winery Chateau Miraval. It comes after the Daily Mail revealed this week that the 62-year-old actor recently scored a major legal win as he is set to go face-to-face with vodka billionaire Yuri Shefler who bought Jolie's stake in the vineyard. A California Superior Court has also granted the F1 star's motion to depose members of the Stoli Group, which is run by Shefler, per a June 17 court filing obtained by People.Last year in June, Pitt sought to depose the company's executive Alexey Oliynik. But lawyers for Jolie, 51, argued Oliynik did not have to present documents or appear for a deposition due to being a Swiss resident. But now according to the filing, depositions for Oliynik as well as other 'persons most qualified' need to occur by September 30 of this year in London. One of Jolie's lawyers also told People on Thursday that Pitt's latest legal wins 'have made no impact on the merits of the case, and certainly has no impact on Ms. Jolie's case.' The Maleficent actress is instead 'looking forward to defeating the case at trial next year so that their family can finally focus their energies on healing and moving on.' A separate source claimed to People that Pitt 'refused to work' with the Stoli Group due to Jolie being the one who had chosen the company. But an insider close to the Hollywood actor stated that his legal victories in the ongoing case are 'another step towards transparency over what took place.' When the trial takes place next year in February 2027, members of the Stoli Group 'will have to explain exactly how the deal was orchestrated,' with Shefler possibly taking to the stand as well. Jolie had sold her stake of the winery to the group's wine division called Tenute del Mondo. The Daily Mail revealed earlier this week that the California Court of Appeal reversed a lower court decision that had allowed Shefler to walk away from the lawsuit by claiming he had little involvement in the $64 million deal that made him Pitt's unwilling business partner. 'Angelina knew Brad didn't want to sell her share of Miraval to Shefler, and she had agreed with Brad that he would have first right of refusal. So selling to Shefler behind Brad's back was spiteful,' an insider told the Daily Mail.'This was payback after the custody dispute. And now Shefler will have to divulge what really happened behind the scenes and how the deal was orchestrated.'The unanimous ruling, handed down by a three-judge panel on Wednesday, found that Shefler had 'purposefully availed himself' of California jurisdiction. 'It defies credulity that Shefler, a sophisticated businessman, would risk almost $40 million on a transaction about which he knew nothing and with which he had no involvement,' the court wrote. Shefler, the billionaire behind Cyprus-registered SPI Group and its Dutch subsidiary Tenute del Mondo, had argued he was a Swiss resident who played no role in the six-month negotiation that saw Jolie quietly sell her 50 percent stake to his company in September 2021.The lower court had sided with Shefler, finding that because negotiations were conducted between European representatives in Europe over a French vineyard, California could not exercise jurisdiction over him.But the appeals court dismantled that argument, finding that Shefler had personally guaranteed $39 million of his own funds to secure Jolie's installment payments.
He even sent her direct letters thanking her for 'accepting my offer,' and instructed his lieutenants throughout the deal. His own staff referred to him as 'The Founder' and 'Mr. S' in internal emails as they scrambled to manage Pitt's furious reaction to the acquisition. In one letter, Shefler even thanked Jolie for her 'trust in me and my company. I can assure you that Miraval is safe with me.''I would also like to thank you for your willingness to assist in resolving potential issues with the remaining shareholders of the company,' he added.'Obviously this is a unique transaction and in certain respects it is not as straightforward as we would all like it to be.'In another internal email, sent while Jolie was still allegedly stalling over signing an exclusivity agreement, an aide told her Luxembourg-based attorney that 'Mr Shefler is considering that advice' on whether to withdraw.Pitt first sued Jolie in February 2022, alleging she had secretly sold her half of their beloved Provençal estate, where the former couple married in 2014, without his consent. He claimed that he and Jolie had an implied agreement that neither would sell their share to a third party without the other's approval, a deal Jolie's side has denied ever existed. In his lawsuit, Pitt alleged that Shefler had 'orchestrated the purchase in secret to facilitate the breach of Pitt's rights and to prevent him from protecting or exercising his rights.'Shefler reached out to Pitt directly by letter in October 2021 hoping to smooth things over, expressing hope that Pitt would accept 'there is a new partner.' Pitt refused.Shefler had purchased a California company - Nouvel LLC, the entity Jolie used to hold her Miraval interest - from a California resident. The purchase agreement and the exclusivity agreement that preceded it were both governed by California law with California forum-selection clauses. His $39 million bank guarantee was addressed to Jolie, care of her Los Angeles-based business manager Terry Bird.'It was these contacts by Shefler with California in purchasing a California company from a California resident that caused the injury to another California resident and California company that is the subject of the lawsuit,' the court ruled. The two film stars have been locked in a bitter battle over the vineyard and winery ever since, with Jolie's cross-complaint accusing Pitt of waging a 'vindictive war' against her that has devalued Miraval and blocked her company from participating in its management. The ruling paves the way for Shefler to face trial alongside the other defendants, creating a showdown with both Jolie and Pitt in court. The case, now involving a combined estate valuation of approximately $164 million, is scheduled for trial on February 1, 2027, with mediation ordered for October 28.Pitt and Jolie were previously married from 2014 until their split two years later. The divorce became legal in 2019.And in late 2024, it was revealed that the former couple had reached a divorce settlement following a lengthy, eight-year battle. However, the legal dispute over their French winery rages on. The two stars share three biological children Shiloh, 20, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, 17. The pair also share Maddox, 24, Pax, 22 and Zahara, 21.

Brad Pitt will get to go face to face with the secretive vodka billionaire who bought Angelina Jolie's stake in their Chateau Miraval vineyard, in yet another legal victory for the actor, the Daily Mail can reveal. The California Court of Appeal reversed a lower court decision that had allowed Yuri Shefler - the Swiss-based owner of the Stolichnaya vodka empire - to walk away from the lawsuit by claiming he had little involvement in the $64 million deal that made him Pitt's unwilling business partner. It is the latest major legal victory in Pitt’s lengthy and bitter battle over the wine estate with his ex-wife.Angelina knew Brad didn’t want to sell her share of Miraval to Shefler, and she had agreed with Brad that he would have first right of refusal. So selling to Shefler behind Brad’s back was spiteful,’ an insider told the Daily Mail.‘This was payback after the custody dispute. And now Shefler will have to divulge what really happened behind the scenes and how the deal was orchestrated.’The unanimous ruling, handed down by a three-judge panel on Wednesday, found that Shefler had ‘purposefully availed himself’ of California jurisdiction.‘It defies credulity that Shefler, a sophisticated businessman, would risk almost $40 million on a transaction about which he knew nothing and with which he had no involvement,’ the court wrote.Shefler, the billionaire behind Cyprus-registered SPI Group and its Dutch subsidiary Tenute del Mondo, had argued he was a Swiss resident who played no role in the six-month negotiation that saw Jolie quietly sell her 50 percent stake to his company in September 2021.The lower court had sided with Shefler, finding that because negotiations were conducted between European representatives in Europe over a French vineyard, California could not exercise jurisdiction over him.But the appeals court dismantled that argument, finding that Shefler had personally guaranteed $39 million of his own funds to secure Jolie's installment payments. He even sent her direct letters thanking her for ‘accepting my offer,’ and instructed his lieutenants throughout the deal. His own staff referred to him as ‘The Founder’ and ‘Mr. S’ in internal emails as they scrambled to manage Pitt's furious reaction to the acquisition.
In one letter, Shefler even thanked Jolie for her ‘trust in me and my company. I can assure you that Miraval is safe with me.’‘I would also like to thank you for your willingness to assist in resolving potential issues with the remaining shareholders of the company,' he added.‘Obviously this is a unique transaction and in certain respects it is not as straightforward as we would all like it to be.’In another internal email, sent while Jolie was still allegedly stalling over signing an exclusivity agreement, an aide told her Luxembourg-based attorney that ‘Mr Shefler is considering that advice’ on whether to withdraw. Pitt, 61, first sued Jolie, 50, in February 2022, alleging she had secretly sold her half of their beloved Provençal estate - where the former couple married in 2014 - without his consent. He claims that he and Jolie had an implied agreement that neither would sell their share to a third party without the other's approval - a deal Jolie's side has denied ever existed. In his lawsuit, Pitt alleged that Shefler had ‘orchestrated the purchase in secret to facilitate the breach of Pitt's rights and to prevent him from protecting or exercising his rights.’Shefler reached out to Pitt directly by letter in October 2021 hoping to smooth things over, expressing hope that Pitt would accept ‘there is a new partner.’ Pitt refused.Shefler had purchased a California company - Nouvel LLC, the entity Jolie used to hold her Miraval interest - from a California resident. The purchase agreement and the exclusivity agreement that preceded it were both governed by California law with California forum-selection clauses. His $39 million bank guarantee was addressed to Jolie, care of her Los Angeles-based business manager Terry Bird.‘It was these contacts by Shefler with California in purchasing a California company from a California resident that caused the injury to another California resident and California company that is the subject of the lawsuit,’ the court ruled. The two film stars have been locked in a bitter battle over the vineyard and winery ever since, with Jolie's cross-complaint accusing Pitt of waging a ‘vindictive war’ against her that has devalued Miraval and blocked her company from participating in its management. The ruling paves the way for Shefler to face trial alongside the other defendants, creating a showdown with both Jolie and Pitt in court. The case - now involving a combined estate valuation of approximately $164 million - is scheduled for trial on February 1, 2027, with mediation ordered for October 28.Shefler had also been fighting Pitt's attempts to depose him.In March, Pitt filed a motion arguing Shefler played ‘a central rather than passive role’ in the dispute and demanding he sit for questioning.Shefler opposed that request, too, again citing his Swiss residency. The new ruling makes that argument significantly harder to sustain. The development comes just as Jolie opened up about the effect the legal war has taken on her, telling Variety last week that her fighting spirit is finally back’ after admitting she had been ‘taken down a little bit.’ She declined to name Pitt directly but said: ‘They know me more than anybody, and they still like me, which says a lot’ - a pointed reference to her children.
The Maleficent actress also argued in court filings that she and the children have never set foot on Miraval since the split ‘given its connection to the painful events leading to the divorce.’She also said she handed Pitt full control of their family homes ‘without compensation, which I hoped would make him calmer in his dealings with me after a difficult and traumatic period.’The roots of the split trace back to a September 2016 flight from France to Los Angeles that Jolie has described as violent. In a court filing, she alleged Pitt grabbed her by the head, shoved her against a bathroom wall, and struck one of their children. Pitt has disputed her account. He also won a ruling in March rejecting claims his suit was ‘frivolous, malicious, and part of a problematic pattern.’In December, a judge ordered Jolie to hand over 22 documents - emails and internal communications her team had sought to shield as attorney-client privileged - after Pitt argued they were nothing more than ‘business gossip’ between Jolie and her trusted aides. In the wake of the latest legal development, Jolie's attorney Paul Murphy told the Daily Mail that 'the ruling has no impact on the merits of the case, and certainly has no impact on Ms Jolie’s case.''At this point, Ms Jolie is just looking forward to defeating the case at trial next year so that their family can finally focus their energies on healing and moving on,' he added. Representatives for Shefler did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Angelina Jolie takes a swipe at ex Brad Pitt as she declares that her fighting spirit is 'finally back' after bitter divorce... thanks to her kids

Angelina Jolie took a brutal swipe at her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his estranged relationship with their six kids while speaking on life after their bitter divorce. The couple split in 2016 after 12 years together - though the divorce wasn't finalized until 2024 due to a lengthy court war over custody and assets. They share three biological children: Shiloh, 20, as well as 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. They are also parents to Maddox, 24, Pax, 22 and Zahara, 21.While speaking to Variety about her latest film Couture, Jolie, 51, declared that her 'fighting spirit' is finally back and that her children are to thank for it.The Oscar-winner also gloated that her kids 'still like [her], which says a lot.'The remarks appeared to be a dig at Pitt, 62, who has had little to no contact with his children in recent years amid claims of 'parental alienation' on Jolie's part. It also comes as all six of the children have dropped the Pitt surname, with the latest being his youngest Knox, who reportedly went by 'Jolie' on his high school diploma. 'I think my fighting spirit is finally back. I lost it for a bit,' Jolie revealed in a joint interview with Couture director Alice Winocour published on Wednesday.'I got kind of taken down a little bit and it's coming back in large part thanks to my children, who are now older, and encouraging it.'Jolie then shared what her children 'want' for her now that they are all almost adults.'My kids are almost all 18, so now they want to see me traveling the world, they want me to get out and do things.'They know me more than anybody, and they still like me, which says a lot.'Jolie said that her kids are 'very encouraging of me kind of getting back to aspects of myself that maybe I hadn't felt as free to do.'One of those aspects was acting as Jolie revealed that she had basically quit the craft prior to ending her marriage to Pitt in 2016. 'I had kind of quit acting before my divorce. I was focusing on directing, and I thought I'd be doing my international work,' she explained.'But then suddenly the only way to be home more and for short periods of time being away or to make a good amount of money, was to go back to acting.'I was only taking things that were short or close by or I could take [my children].'Jolie then spoke about losing both her mother and grandmother to cancer and how she often feels like 'time's running out' with her kids.'I think having lost my mom young and never met my grandmother, I have never lived feeling like I'm going to have a long life.'I'm already past the age when my mother was diagnosed. I may struggle from almost feeling like I can't live in the moment because I feel like I have to push and rush because time's running out.'
In Couture, Jolie plays a filmmaker who learns she's been diagnosed with breast cancer after arriving for Paris Fashion Week to shoot a project. The film, which is set for a June 26 theatrical release, is deeply personal to Jolie as her mother died from complications of breast and ovarian cancer back in 2007.Jolie underwent a preventative double mastectomy back in 2013 after discovering she carries a genetic mutation that dramatically increases the chance of being diagnosed with potentially fatal breast cancer. She heartbreakingly admitted to Variety that she raises her six kids 'almost preparing them for my absence and not as much preparing to be a grandmother.'That's what happens when you consider death as a reality.'Earlier in the interview, Jolie was asked if she considers herself 'punk' at age 51, which inspired her to speak on the importance of 'privacy' in her life post-divorce.'I think I'm more punk now,' she admitted, adding that 'punk' to her is 'kind of the counter movement to a lot of what's happening.'So even sometimes my privacy or not completely being sucked into a lot of things or movements - sometimes the doing less, or being private, when the world is the way it is right now, that is an opposite.'Jolie's shockingly candid remarks come just days after it was revealed that her and Pitt's son Knox dropped the actor's last name from his high school diploma. The 17-year-old removed the last name of Pitt as he graduated from Fusion Academy in Los Angeles earlier this month, per Page Six. Instead, the teen's name was simply listed as Knox Jolie on the official certificate. Knox was cheered on by his mother Angelina Jolie at the graduation ceremony as well as brother Pax, twin sister Vivienne and sister Zahara. Pitt and Jolie were previously married from 2014 until their divorce became legal in 2019.
And in late 2024, it was revealed that the former couple had reached a divorce settlement following a lengthy, eight-year battle. The two stars share three biological children Shiloh, 20, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne. They also share Maddox, 24, Pax, 22 and Zahara, 21. It was also recently revealed by InTouch that Pitt and Jolie's daughter Zahara was making legal moves to remove Pitt from her last name. The next day, TMZ obtained a petition Zahara filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, where she asked for her new legal name to be Zahara Marley Jolie. She has not been using Pitt's last name for many years. Pitt was notably absent from her name when she joined a sorority at Spelman College three years ago.And in May, Zahara did not use the name Pitt when graduating from Spelman College. Jolie had also been in attendance at the ceremony. Another source told TMZ that Pitt thinks Jolie is keeping their children from seeing him.Jolie and Pitt were raising six children together before she filed for divorce in 2016.Their kids Shiloh, Maddox, and Vivienne have also stopped using Pitt's last name. It is not known if Pax has stopped using the name as well.It was confirmed by the Daily Mail back in May that Maddox requested to legally remove 'Pitt' from his surname. He is changing his full name to Maddox Chivan Jolie and listed the reasoning as 'personal.' Back in 2024, Vivienne also dropped her dad's last name in a Playbill credit for The Outsiders. That same year, Shiloh dropped Pitt from her name shortly after her 18th birthday. At the time, a source told the Daily Mail: 'He knew this was coming and there is nothing he can do about it right now.'It's sad but Brad's strained relationship with his kids and Angelina is just a way of life for him now.'However, the insider further explained that the actor has always left the door open if his estranged children wanted to reconnect. 'He respects Shiloh's decision. He loves her and no matter what happens, he is always only a phone call away. 'He will be there for Shiloh and any of his kids whenever they need, no questions asked. But it's up to them to make the next move.'A separate source stated that Pitt 'knows that, with some of the other kids who are not biologically his children, they do not understand and may never allow him back into their lives.'Back in 2016, Pitt and Jolie's relationship came to an explosive end after the pair got into an alleged physical altercation while on a private flight with their six kids.Jolie later claimed that Pitt 'choked' one of the children during the horrifying dispute and 'struck' another in the face, leaving her and the kids feeling like 'hostages' and cowering in fear under a blanket for hours until they landed. She also alleged that he grabbed her by the head, slammed her against a wall, and violently shook her at one point during the flight - which resulted in her injuring her back and elbow.Pitt's rep called Jolie's account 'completely untrue' to CNN at first, but then released an amended statement to the publication that read, 'Angelina's story continues to evolve each time she tells it.'Brad has accepted responsibility for what he did but will not for things he didn't do. He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation.'Thankfully, the various public authorities she has tried to use against him over the past six years have made their own independent decisions.'The statement at the time also read, 'Brad will continue to respond in court as he has consistently done.'The F1 actor has been romantically linked to Ines de Ramon since 2022.

Angelina Jolie appears fine to let a yearslong legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt over their French winery Château Miraval extend a little bit longer. The 50-year-old Maleficent star said in a new court filing that she feels a trial in September 2027 works well, despite his push to have it five months earlier in April.'It's sort of sad that the strategy is just a delay instead of addressing or resolving things but that's par for the course,' a source told the Daily Mail of Jolie's latest tack in the legal proceedings. Pitt said in a recent filing that the legal back and forth has deprived him of years of 'the quiet enjoyment of his home in France,' which is valued at $164 million. The Fight Club star, 62, said that time is of the essence, as key witnesses in the case are aging, with one having passed away.Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Jolie and Pitt for further comment on the story. Pitt, in court filings reviewed by TMZ, also pointed to the ages of Jolie's attorneys, saying that one had passed the bar more than 50 years ago, in 1972.Jolie told the court that the five-month delay will have a negligible impact on the case.Pitt has not brought any evidence before the court to show how the case has impacted him enjoying his visits to the estate, Jolie said in court docs. The Academy Award-winning actress in her filing responded to Pitt's concerns that a fall trial would be interrupted by the Jewish High Holidays.Jolie said that Pitt did not provide names of members of his legal team that would be sidelined by the religious observances. In previous filings, the A-listers, who initially linked up filming 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, had wanted different dates for the trial to commence.A February 1, 2027 had been set by the court, according to legal docs TMZ reviewed, leading Pitt to concede two months. Pitt said in the filing that he was hoping to begin sooner so all involved can 'move on with their lives.'Jolie had requested the case be brought before the court in November of 2027, according to filings reviewed by the outlet. The Oscar-winning Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood star initially filed the lawsuit against Jolie in early 2022, telling the court she had sold her share of the estate to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler.Jolie told the court that she did not require permission from Pitt to complete her sale of the Correns, France winery to Shefler.Jolie and the Moneyball actor are parents to six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 17. They split up in 2016 following a 12-year relationship and two-year marriage, with their divorce finalized eight years later in December 2024 amid a number of legal battles.
