         Brad Pitt has fired back at Angelina Jolie's claims that he failed to pay 'meaningful' child support to the actress amid their bitter split.In documents obtained by Dailymail.com, lawyers for the 54-year-old heartthrob claim that Pitt has paid over $9million to his 43-year-old ex. Jolie's claim to the contrary was 'a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage' according to the filing. The filing by the Se7en star's lawyers say that he loaned his Maleficent star ex $8million 'to assist her in purchasing her current residence'. He has also paid 'over $1.3million in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children.'Brad's lawyers say Angelina's claims that he's withheld child support are 'calculated to increase the conflict.' Attorneys for the actress alleged on Tuesday that the actor hasn't paid 'meaningful' child support for 18 months, according to other court documents seen by DailyMail.com.'As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation,' Jolie's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean wrote.The actress-turned-director alleged her third husband has not been meeting his financial obligations and has demanded the court force him to pay up. 'Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO for the establishment of a retroactive child support order,' the filing says.  She has asked the judge to arrange a meeting to discuss the issue.  'Meaningful' support was not defined in the filing and Pitt's team are yet to formally respond. A Pitt source familiar with the situation hinted to Dailymail.com that the actor would likely fight the allegations, commenting: 'Brad always fulfills his commitments'.
         Later on in the day a spokesperson for Angelina explained to People why the star had requested child support to 'provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children.'The documents also demand that the divorce be finalized this year, with Jolie seemingly in a hurry to bring the battle to an end.  Jolie’s net worth has been estimated at $160 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth and in 2014, she was ranked 74th highest-earning celebrity by Forbes. The same site puts Pitt's net worth at $240million. It's been nearly two years since their shocking split was announced. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 citing irreconcilable differences. It came amid allegations that Pitt had been 'rough' with one of their children on a private plane. Pitt was investigated but cleared of all wrongdoing.   It started months often nasty exchanges and the couple are still 'not even close to settling their divorce', according to E! News.'They are so hung up on dealing with the custody issues' that the rest of the proceedings have not yet advanced, according to the site. The duo's divorce has apparently ground to a halt over disagreements about how much time Pitt gets with their six children; Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne, 10 and Knox, 10.And it's these discussions that have held up the rest of the divorce proceedings -such as division of assets- with E!'s sources describing the process as being at 'kind of at an impasse at this point'.And according to UsWeekly, a major reason for the holdup is the Maleficent actress' resentment towards her World War Z star ex.'She can't see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody,' said the magazine's source.
         Jolie is allegedly making the divorce negotiations and child custody battle very hostile and has been 'out for blood' ever since her September 2016 divorce filing.A source connected to the Fury actor told TMZ that they believe the Maleficent actress wants 'to kill any relationship he has with his kids'.They also claim that there has been a lot of screaming on Jolie's part, adding, 'She's fueled with anger and has gotten ridiculously unreasonable.'It's become so bad that the mother-of-six's lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented many divorcing celebrities over the years, is apparently going to quit and has 'made it known' to Jolie because it's become too 'venomous'.Wasser, who has worked for stars such as Ashton Kutcher during his split from Demi Moore, Heidi Klum and Seal as well as Mariah Carey amid her divorce from Nick Cannon, promotes settlements and co-parenting.TMZ claims the Wanted actress has already hired another law firm to take over when Wasser officially leaves. However Angelina's people have disputed that account. 'I've spoken directly to Laura,' Jolie's spokesperson told PEOPLE. 'The TMZ story is not true. She's not quitting now or in the future.'           Angelina Jolie is not calling off her divorce from Brad Pitt amid their custody battle, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim. The story is completely fabricated.Last month, a judge established a new custody arrangement in which Pitt would get to spend significantly more time with his children over the summer. The judge even indicated that Jolie could be in danger of losing custody if she didn’t follow the court’s order. Now, according to the Globe, the actress believes the only way to keep full custody of her kids is to reunite with her estranged husband.An alleged insider tells the magazine that Jolie was “blindsided” by the idea that Pitt could take the kids from her because she believed “there was no question she’d end up with full custody.” The unreliable outlet further contends that the actress has decided to stop the divorce proceedings as a result, but it’s only a ploy to ensure she doesn’t lose her kids. “She’s doing her best to mend her fractured relationship with Brad and become a family again,” adds the outlet’s supposed source.None of this is accurate. For starters, Jolie is following the visitation schedule set up by the judge and allowing the kids to split time between her and Pitt. There’s no reason to believe the actress would defy a court order, so she doesn’t have to call of her divorce in order to keep the children, who all currently live with her in London as she films Maleficent 2. As for the suggestion the actress is in such a state of panic that she’s willing to stay in a fractured marriage, People recently reported that Jolie is “doing great” and staying positive amid the custody battle.
         It should be noted, the Globe also wrongly reported in early June that Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce, but it was for a different reason back then. At the time, the untrustworthy outlet said the two “mended fences in a sizzling reunion between the sheets.” Less than two weeks after the story was published, the exes’ new custody agreement was put in place. Had the two actually been back together, there wouldn’t still be a judge presiding over their case.Also, this latest article makes no mention of Pitt and Jolie having supposedly reconciled in early June. Instead, the tabloid maintains that the actress only decided to call off her divorce following the judge’s most recent ruling. The publication can’t keep its stories straight and is simply coming up with new angles as it goes along.

            Brad Pitt has not landed a “victory” in his custody battle with Angelina Jolie, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this tabloid claim. Much of the article’s contentions are 100 percent wrong.According to In Touch, Pitt can “claim a major victory” in his custody negotiations with Jolie. The magazine goes on to say that “after months of biding his time and biting his tongue,” the actor’s patience has finally “paid off.” A so-called “family friend” is then quoted as saying, “Brad’s finally got the kids, and he’s overjoyed.” The supposed insider further maintains, “To Brad’s delight, Angelina has decided to let the majority of the children, who have summer camps and a slew of other activities in the works, stay in LA with their father while she’s in Britain shooting Maleficent 2.” The ill-informed source alleges that Pitt became “livid” after learning their six children would remain in London while Jolie shot the Disney sequel, so “she promised Brad that he could spend longer periods of time with the kids over the summer.” The purported “friend” adds, in highly unnatural language, that Pitt is fixing up the house because “he gets such enjoyment out of seeing them cut loose at their amusement park–like former home.” The questionable source notes that the actor is busy this summer filming the Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Los Angeles “so that he can be home most nights” with the children. “Brad has an assortment of day and overnight trips planned with the kids over the summer,” adds the “friend.”
           Are we supposed to believe that Pitt wanted custody of his kids this summer so that they could spend time at their “former home” with him on “most nights” and not during the day? It should be noted, film productions aren’t 9 to 5 gigs. They often shoot at night. And while the tabloid throws in that there will be “an assortment of day and overnight trips,” it offers no examples of what they might be.But these are the least of the magazine’s problems. The main issue, Gossip Cop is assured by a source so close to the situation, is that it’s basically the complete opposite. Jolie has the kids for the summer in London while she shoots Maleficent 2. We’re told there’s “potentially one exception” in which the kids will spend some “brief time in Los Angeles” with Pitt, but they’ll be with Jolie for the most part.Also, People was correct when it reported that Jolie’s six kids will be with her on the Maleficent 2 set, and that they’ll be “continuing their schoolwork in a designated trailer” while she’s shooting. When she’s not filming, the children and their mom will be together, Gossip Cop is told.It goes without saying, but In Touch clearly doesn’t have reliable Pitt or Jolie sources. Just earlier this month, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it reported that Jolie was “furious” that Pitt and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston were having a baby. As we noted at the time, Aniston and Pitt have not seen each other in a long time, making having a child together physically impossible. Additionally, a rep for Pitt called the magazine’s story “ridiculous,” while Aniston’s spokesperson said the claim was “fabricated” and “absurd.” Also, it’s the same magazine that ran a story more than a year ago about Jolie getting married to an unnamed British philanthropist. A good 400-plus days have passed and time has proven once again that the tabloid’s alleged Jolie sources know very little, if anything, about her. Naturally, this latest article makes no mention of the mystery man or Pitt and Aniston’s impending arrival. That’s because it’s more lies.

         Angelina Jolie is “furious” over Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s supposed baby plans, according to a completely wrong tabloid story. Gossip Cop can debunk this phony claim. It was fabricated based on an equally bogus premise.As Gossip Cop reported, on Wednesday In Touch published an entirely made-up cover story that inanely and untruthfully announced Aniston and Pitt are planning to have a baby together. It was alleged that after they “reconnected” following their respective breakups with Justin Theroux and Jolie, the former spouses had decided to “try” to conceive either naturally, or through IVF. Spokespeople for Aniston and Pitt, however, individually confirmed to Gossip Cop that these contentions were all lies.But on top of peddling this idea of the exes having a child together, the tabloid is also claiming to know Jolie’s reaction to their purported plans. After quoting a supposed “friend” as saying, “It’s the blockbuster news that friends, family and fans have been hoping for,” the outlet asserts that “not everyone is happy about the baby buzz.” Jolie is described as “livid that Brad and Jen are back in each other lives,” and “furious at the suggestion the two could soon be welcoming a baby together.” A so-called “source” contends, “It’s the ultimate slap in the face.” Still, the magazine maintains, “But they won’t let Angelina stop them.”
         Of course, Jolie isn’t trying to stop plans that don’t actually exist. Aniston’s rep told Gossip Cop on the record that the claims about her and Pitt having a child together are both “absurd” and a “fabrication.” Similarly, a spokesperson for Pitt told us the allegations were “ridiculous.” So why would Jolie be upset about something that isn’t true and was seemingly invented out of thin air? The contention that she’s been “livid” over Pitt and Aniston being “back in each other’s lives” is also a provable sham. As People reported earlier this year, and as Gossip Cop has confirmed, Aniston and Pitt haven’t even seen one other in quite some time. The reputable magazine has even noted that “they aren’t in regular contact” and their relationship is “ancient history.” There is nothing going on for Jolie to be “livid” about.But in addition to its misguided Aniston-Pitt reunion narrative, In Touch has also been pushing this love triangle storyline involving Jolie. In March, for example, the tabloid manufactured a cover story about Aniston inviting Jolie to a “secret dinner” to clear the air between them. That, too, was also based on the untrue notion that Aniston was involved with Pitt again, and just like now, Jolie was described as “furious.” The outlet may keep coming up with new angles, but that doesn’t make them legitimate.
