Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are trying to settle the custody of their six children out of court, Gossip Cop has learned. The estranged spouses are currently scheduled to go to trial on December 4, but we’re told both parties are working together to come to an agreement before the court date. A source close to Jolie also tells us she’s not fighting for sole custody, as some outlets have reported, and her “goal is that the kids have a relationship with their father.” On Monday, the exes filed court documents requesting to extend the appointment of Judge Ouderkirk as a temporary judge in their case through June 30, 2019. The retired judge, who’s handled all pre-trial issues between the exes, is expecting to oversee their case privately and not in a public courthouse. Gossip Cop, however, is told that the December 4 court date will only commence if the two can’t hash out a custody agreement prior to it.Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences, and the two have been fighting over custody and money ever since. This past June, a judge ruled that the actress could lost primary custody of her six kids if she didn’t allow them to spend more time with their father. In August, the actress filed papers accusing Pitt of not paying any “meaningful child support” in the time since they separated. The actor’s lawyers dismissed the claim, calling it “a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage.” Pitt’s team further stated that he’s paid more than $1.3 million for the kids and also loaned his estranged wife $8 million to buy a home. Jolie’s camp shot back by saying a “loan” is not child support, “and to represent it as such is misleading and inaccurate.” The actress’s lawyers also argued that Pitt’s counter-claim was “a blatant attempt to obfuscate the truth and distract from the fact that he has not fully met his legal obligations to support the children.” In addition to all of the real-life developments, there have also been countless false tabloid stories surrounding the ex-couple’s high-profile divorce. One phony scenario that’s emerged several times is that the two are getting back together. The history of their custody battle would prove otherwise.Jennifer Aniston has also been dragged into the fold on countless occasions, with several tabloids alleging that she reconciled with Pitt amid his divorce. A few particularly egregious articles even claimed that Aniston was going to court with her ex-husband to help him win back his kids from Jolie. That’s not happening. Gossip Cop will continue to update with real developments in Pitt and Jolie’s custody case ahead of the scheduled December 4 trial date.

Is Brad Pitt receptive to the idea that Angelina Jolie ‘misses’ him & wants to talk? A source close to Brad set the record straight EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife! After a source close to Angelina Jolie told us that she was “fighting the urge” to reach out to Brad Pitt, we wondered what Brad would think about that. Now, a source close to Pitt told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that he definitely does not want to contact her. “Brad has no desire at all to chat to Angelina,” our source said. “They talk very occasionally, but only about the children, and only when it is absolutely necessary, other than that all communication is through their attorneys. Brad just wants this whole nightmare to be over and done with so he can move on with his life and put it all behind him.” When it comes down to it, their moment together has come and gone. “At one time, Brad was the happiest he has ever been in his life when he was with Angelina,” our source went on to say. “They had the kids, and they had this amazing life together, and he honestly thought they would be together forever. But, clearly he was mistaken, and Brad is the first to hold his hand up and take responsibility for the part he played in the demise of their relationship, but Angelina isn’t blameless, as much as she loves to play the victim in all of this.” And from here on out, Brad is completely focused on what lies ahead of him, not what came before. “There’s no point in looking backwards though,” our source added. “The past is the past, and Brad has no desire to go there again. He’s over it; He’s finally found closure from their breakup; He’s looking forward to the future now, and that future most definitely does not include Angelina Jolie.”

Angelina Jolie is reportedly struggling to come to terms with the end of her marriage to Brad Pitt.According to Hollywood Life, the 43-year-old actress recently realized that her life feels less complete without her estranged husband around. The source claims that she’s ‘pretty much gone through all seven stages of grieving a break-up now’, but is having a hard time with ‘moving forward’.‘It’s really dawned on Angelina recently how empty her life is without Brad in it,’ the source said. The insider went on: ‘Even though the worst was probably the anger stage, she’s been struggling a lot with the last one, redirected hope.‘Moving forward and knowing that she will be OK without Brad, and that they will never be together again, has been a lot for Angelina to process, even though she’s pretty much accepted that fact now.’ Although things have gotten ugly between Angelina and Brad, 54, since they filed for divorce, the Maleficent actress reportedly believes he was her one true love.‘They shared so many good times, not to mention six kids together, and a large part of her still believes that he was the love of her life and her soulmate,’ Hollywood Life’s source added.‘Angelina hates to think she will never meet somebody else again, but she struggles to imagine herself with anybody but Brad.’ The anonymous informant claimed it’s been ‘really tough’ for Angelina to stop dwelling on her failed relationship with Brad and move on. She has, however had ‘lovers here and there’, but nothing serious since her divorce filing. Before you get your hopes up for reconciliation, Hollywood Life’s source said that’s probably not in the cards.
‘The truth is, she just can’t envision what that person would look like, or who they would be, other than Brad, and in all honesty, she knows that ship has well and truly sailed,’ they said. This story comes amid reports that Angelina ‘has many regrets about leaving Brad’.On October 12, Hollywood Life published a report in which a source said Angelina realized she could have done things differently with Brad and perhaps saved their marriage.‘Angelina wonders how she could have communicated with Brad more, or how she could have helped him battle his demons better. So many things Angelina questions and/or feels regretful about concerning their relationship still haunt her, but she never worries about how her relationship or divorce may have affected Jen [Aniston]. Angelina simply never really worries or ever really thinks about Jen,’ the source claimed.Although Hollywood Life’s recent report suggests Angelina’s having a hard time moving on, she has been linked to a few men since her separation from Brad.First, in August, In Touch reported that Angelina had fallen for a British billionaire. His name was not revealed, but the outlet suggested things may be getting serious between them after Angelina moved to speed up her divorce.‘A quicker divorce means Angelina would be free to marry again,’ a source told the outlet.‘She’s desperate to get married as soon as she can.’In March 2018, a source told ET that Angelina was dating an older man who sells homes for a living. The source said at the time: ‘Brad and Angie are both very secretive about their dating life. Angie has told some friends she isn’t ready to date, but she has been seeing a handsome, older-looking man who is a real estate agent.’ Brad has been linked to Neri Oxman, a prominent MIT professor, his ex-wife Jennifer and Hari Khalsa.

Brad Pitt’s Kids NOT ‘Trapped’ In Angelina Jolie’s ‘Prison,’ Despite Report

The cover of one of this week’s tabloids claims Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s six kids are “trapped” like prisoners in their mom’s home. The story is completely baseless. Gossip Cop can correct it.The estranged spouses have been engaged in a custody battle over their children for quite some time, but according to OK!, the situation is “so much worse than anyone knows.” An alleged insider tells the magazine, “Angelina is determined to come out of this on top, and that means masterminding a new war against Brad to make sure the kids stay with her.” The questionable source goes on to say that Jolie is “spoiling [the kids] with new toys and fun days out,” but the situation looks different behind closed doors. “Angelina has a team of six nannies, four security guards and 14 lawyers indirectly tasked with keeping the kids away from Brad,” says the suspicious tipster. “The word is she has tight security to make sure they don’t try to run away. The nannies keep the kids entertained, but also report back to Angelina if they ask about their dad.” The supposed insider further contends that those close to Pitt fear his estranged wife “could be poisoning [the kids] with lies about their father.” The “source” goes on to say that despite a judge recently ruling it’s important for the children to have a relationship with Pitt, “it doesn’t seem like that’s stopping her from trying to turn them against their dad.” Although Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle has been complicated at at times contentious, the tabloid’s account of events is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that the magazine’s report is untrue. Jolie isn’t treating her children like prisoners in their own home, nor is she trying to convince them that their father is some sort of villain.People magazine, a much more reputable celebrity news outlet than OK!, also recently reported that Jolie “remains focused on healing her family” and “continues to support the reconciliation of the children with Brad.” E! News similarly noted that Jolie “remains committed to helping the kids heal with” Pitt. There are several issues that need to be worked out in terms of a custody arrangement, but Jolie isn’t vindictively scheming to turn the kids against their father.Additionally, the tabloid has already proven to have very little insight into the situation between the estranged spouses. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for publishing a cover story claiming Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce and renewing their vows. The magazine has completely shifted narratives with this latest report, but it’s no more accurate.
