            Angelina Jolie was spotted out in New York City with her youngest daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 15, on Tuesday afternoon. The Academy Award-winner, 48, looked ultra chic in an all-black outfit that included a flowy, low-cut dress. A boxy black blazer was draped over her shoulders and she carried her essentials in a leather YSL clutch.  The Changeling star strolled towards a nearby SUV in sky-high Christian Louboutin heels.Angelina's brunette hair was secured in a claw clip and she wore large, designer sunglasses.Vivienne kept it casual in a white crewneck, baggy black pants and Converse sneakers. She is one of six children Angelina shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, who she split from in 2016 after two years of marriage and a decade together.They're also parents to: Maddox, 22, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and Vivienne's twin brother Knox. They're still battling over custody of their minor children. Tuesday's sighting comes shortly after it was revealed that Angelina is now a lead producer on the Broadway musical adaptation of the 1983 film The Outsiders.Not only is this her first Broadway involvement, but it is also the first time Angelina has worked on a project with Vivienne. According to ET, Vivienne will serve as Angelina's volunteer assistant and have direct involvement with the production. 'Viv reminds me of my mother [Marcheline Bertrand] in that she isn't focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives,' the actress said in a statement to the outlet. 'She's very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.' A source dished that Vivienne 'loves musical theater' and that Angelina has been taking her to productions 'since she was a little girl.' The musical is based on S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 coming-of-age crime drama. That film starred a who's who of young Hollywood at the time: Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Emilio Estevez, C Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio. The musical had its world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse earlier this year and a source told ET that Angelina and Vivienne 'both fell in love with the musical' when they saw it. 'Angelina and Vivienne subsequently met with S.E. Hinton, who was around Vivienne's age when she wrote the novel,' the insider claimed. 'As a result of seeing the show and the conversation with S.E. Hinton, Angelina was inspired to take a role as a lead producer for the upcoming launch on Broadway.' The Broadway cast of The Outsiders and show dates have yet to be revealed. 'I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse,' Angelina said in a statement earlier this month. 'I can't begin to express how excited I am for this musical to make its Broadway debut and look forward to sharing this new adaptation of The Outsiders with the world.'The synopsis for The Outsiders film reads: 'A teen gang in rural Oklahoma, the Greasers are perpetually at odds with the Socials, a rival group. 'When Greasers Ponyboy (C. Thomas Howell) and Johnny (Ralph Macchio) get into a brawl that ends in the death of a Social member, the boys are forced to go into hiding. 'Soon Ponyboy and Johnny, along with the intense Dallas (Matt Dillon) and their other Greaser buddies, must contend with the consequences of their violent lives. While some Greasers try to achieve redemption, others meet tragic ends.' The Outsiders musical features a story by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Jonathan Clay, Zach Chance and Levine. It will be directed by Danya Taymor.

The Oscar-winning actress has become a lead producer on the Broadway-bound new musical The Outsiders. It is a show based on S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 coming-of-age crime drama.That film starred a who's who of young Hollywood at the time: Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Emilio Estevez, C Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio. The Outsiders had its world premiere at La Jolla Playhouse earlier this year. The Broadway cast and dates have not been revealed yet. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined the producing team of last season's Chicken & Biscuits.Jennifer Hudson, Don Cheadle, Mindy Kaling and RuPaul were also among the producers of 2022's Tony-winner A Strange Loop/. The current Here Lies Love boasts H.E.R., Jo Koy and Apl.de.Ap as producers. The Outsiders musical features a story by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Jonathan Clay, Zach Chance and Levine. It will be directed by Danya Taymor.
