            Angelina Jolie is here to make you look bad: not only is the mother-of-six a committed human rights activist (in addition to her acting and directing), she’s also, as it turns out, a fully licensed pilot.The world gets an impressive reminder of Jolie’s flying capabilities in the new David Attenborough doco The Queen’s Green Planet. Footage shows Jolie co-piloting a light plane over the Namibian desert (Jolie has recently partnered with the Namibian government to create a nursery that will replace dying trees in the area). Part of a birthday present for her son Maddox.“When Maddox was one and a half, we used to go to the airfield, have lunch and watch the planes,” she said. “And it dawned on me: I could fly. So I promised him I would fly by his second birthday.”

Angelina Jolie wows viewers by "nonchalantly" flying a plane over the desert in The Queen's Green Planet

            Angelina Jolie impressed viewers as she flew a plane with ease and elegance over the desert in Namibia in ITV's The Queen's Green Planet last night.The actress and committed humanitarian featured with her six children in the documentary about Her Majesty's plans to protect the environment."It's beautiful… I think it's the most beautiful places in the world," Jolie says to her co-pilot as she flies over the desert.  Commenting on the impact of climate change, the star continues: "Even in the last decade [climate change] is so noticeable, and the expanding deserts... I love the deserts, but we don't want it expanding in such a way." Sir David Attenborough - who teamed up with Her Majesty to make the documentary - also provided the programme's commentary, and revealed that Jolie has partnered with the Namibian government to make a unique plant nursery to replace dying trees in the desert.Fans were also wowed by the Jolie's plane skills - she's held a private pilot license since 2004 - along with her contribution in preserving forest conservation in Africa.Jolie also only had wonderful things to say about the "lovely" Queen in the programme, and revealed she constantly educates her children on the monarch's stance on the importance of conservation."What it comes down to it you say to the kids, 'You know really, you don't know her, you can't understand all that it means to be a queen and all that,'" Jolie explained."But you try to say, 'You know she's just this really lovely lady who really cares about people around the world, and she really cares about the future."And she wants your grandkids and her grandkids to be able to be running around, enjoying nature and other cultures, and the importance of other cultures. She thinks that really matters and I agree with her." The 91-year-old monarch and the Oscar-winning actress previously met when Jolie was made an honorary dame by the Queen for her campaigning work fighting sexual violence in 2014.

Angelina Jolie reportedly dating older man after Brad Pitt split

          Angelina Jolie is “seeing a handsome, older-looking man” as she moves on from estranged husband Brad Pitt.The 42-year-old actress and Brad, 54, announced they were divorcing in 2016, but are yet to finalise their separation.However, according to Entertainment tonight the Maleficent star is already moving on, and has started seeing a handsome real estate agent.“Brad and Angie are both very secretive about their dating life,” a source told the U.S. TV network. “Angie has told some friends she isn’t ready to date, but she has been seeing a handsome, older-looking man who is a real estate agent. He isn’t a celebrity or high profile in any way.”The insider adds that Angelina’s new romance is “not serious” but that the mystery man is helping her get over her heartbreak.“Angie was in a very bad place after (her) split (from Brad),” the source explained. “Just having another adult to spend time with has been helpful.”Angelina and Brad have six children together, and according to the source they are trying to do what’s best for their kids, Maddox, 16, Zahara, 13, Pax, 14, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.“People talk about them reuniting, but it will never happen,” the insider says. “Things between Brad and Angie really ended poorly, and while they’ve attempted therapy with the children, they can barely be in the same room together.”Another source told the network that Brad has also begun seeing other women.“He’s very private about who he’s seeing, but he does continue to casually date,” they said. “The women he sees are not in the public eye.”The couple is still in the process of finalizing its divorce.

          The 42-year-old actress split from her estranged husband Brad Pitt - with whom she has Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox - after two years of marriage in 2016, and although dating rumours have been circling the 'Maleficent' star, sources have insisted her only focus right now is her brood.One insider told People magazine: "She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be. She will focus only on their children and being with them. She has no interest in dating at all." It isn't the first time sources have shut down romance rumours surrounding Angelina, as it was previously claimed the star wouldn't be ready to hit the dating scene again for "a very long time".A source said previously: "Angelina isn't dating anyone and won't be for a very long time. She is focused on her children and their needs."Meanwhile, although Angelina is steering clear of any romance, 54-year-old Brad - who had been dating Angelina for almost a decade before they married in 2014 - is said to be "casually" dating away from the spotlight following the pair's high profile split.An insider said: "He's very private about who he's seeing, but he does continue to casually date. The women he sees are not in the public eye."The Hollywood hunk - who was also previously married to Jennifer Aniston - has decided to overhaul his lifestyle since splitting from Angelina.The source added: "He has made changes in his life since the split."When they first split he spent a lot of time at home and was often very down about what was going on. He was a homebody for many months, but in the last month or two, he's been going out more. He enjoys going out to eat with close friends."Despite this, another source close to the situation has insisted that Brad isn't looking to settle down again anytime soon.The insider shared: "He is in no way ready to get serious with anyone."He invites his dates over to his house and never takes women out in public.           US actor and director Angelina Jolie is known the world over for her striking red carpet looks and the star is no stranger to Arab designers, having turned to Lebanon’s Elie Saab on too many an occasion to keep count.Jolie’s love affair with the whimsical fashion house was on show again in this month’s Grazia Italy magazine, as the Hollywood siren posed in a cream strapless Elie Saab gown in a shoot to promote the perfume Mon Guerlain, for which she is the face.lie Saab posted a photograph of Jolie in the sultry dress with a caption that read: “That captivating beauty.” Jolie’s intricate tattoos steal the spotlight in the photographs, with one of the shots focusing on the actor’s back, which is covered in ancient Cambodian and Thai symbols.The partnership between Jolie and Guerlain was announced in 2017 and will see the actor donate her entire earnings from the campaign to charity.“We create perfumes for the women we admire,” Jacques Guerlain said in a statement in 2017. The brand’s master perfumer, Thierry Wasser, added that he sought inspiration from Jolie to create the fragrance.As well as being a Hollywood mover and shaker and a mother of six, Jolie is a special envoy of the UN Refugee Agency and regularly travels to countries in the Middle East and Asia to meet with refugees and at-risk women and children.
