        Angelina Jolie looked effortlessly chic as she stepped out in NYC on Friday with son Pax, 19 and daughter Vivienne, 15. The Oscar-winning actress, 48, wowed in a flowing white dress, teamed with a tailored cream blazer and nude heels as she strolled. Her ombre tresses were styled in soft waves and she sported chic shades and a radiant palette of make-up. She accessorized with a patterned handbag as she walked alongside her stylish son. Pax wore a white graphic print sweater, teamed with a black crossbody bag and Converse, completing the look with shades.'Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention, but in being a support to other creatives,' Jolie said in a statement to People. The Mr. & Mrs. Smith star continued: 'She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.' Vivienne was actually the person who inspired the filmmaker to get involved with The Outsiders when she took her to see the world premiere of the show at La Jolla Playhouse in California earlier this year. That led to a meeting with author Hinton, who wrote the book as a teenager around Vivienne's age. Written by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine, the Broadway musical of The Outsiders will be directed by Danya Taymor; music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance); music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Justin Levine; and choreography by Rick Kuperman and Jeff Kuperman.
        'I studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute where I realized my first love, as a performer, was the theatre,' the Academy Award winner said. 'I had not found a way back until now. I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse.'The Broadway cast and dates for The Outsiders musical are still pending. Along with Vivienne and Pax, Jolie also shares four other children with ex-husband Brad Pitt that includes: Knox, 15, Shiloh, 17, Zahara, 18, and Maddox, 22. Over the years, Maddox and Pax have also dipped their feet in the entertainment industry as they previously worked in the assistant director department for their mom's upcoming drama war film Without Blood. Pax previously collaborated with his mom on First They Killed My Father (2017), shooting behind-the-scenes stills for the drama film, which is about the same job he had for Without Blood. 'We work well together. When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, so it felt natural,' Jolie said of Pax and Maddox's work in the assistant director department, which serves as the liaison between her job as the director and other departments of the production.Pax, the second eldest son of Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt, is reportedly serious about his love for art, and that he's said to be preparing for a show at a gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel. Adopted from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in March 2007, the artistic young man graduated from college in 2021. So far, it's not exactly known what type of art he's focused on, but there have been some people who have describes his style as 'abstract.'
