          Angelina Jolie is making the rounds promoting her latest film Maria, a biopic about the legendary soprano opera singer Maria Callas, which is garnering her Oscar buzz.Her latest stop was a screening and Q&A for industry folks in Beverly Hills where she stunned in an all-white look.The Maleficent star, 49, wore a suit that consisted of a long blazer with a single button and ankle-grazing pants that covered her over 20 tattoos.She wore a white top with it and red and white open-toed shoes featuring a leather bow over her toes.Angelina wore her highlighted brown hair in loose waves and her makeup featured smokey eyes and a bold red lip. The Gia star is already garnering Oscar buzz for her portrayal of the American-Greek singer.Maria was directed by Pablo Larrain – who also directed the Jacqueline Onassis biopic Jackie (2016) and the Princess Diana movie Spencer (2021).Jolie's co-stars in the film include Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee.Maria premiered during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.'Maria Callas, the world's greatest opera singer, lives the last days of her life in 1970s Paris, as she confronts her identity and life,' per the IMDB synopsis. Angelina took singing lessons to portray Callas and opened up about that process in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.'It took many months of singing classes. Months of just getting the singing down and then the Italian classes and then the voice and doing all these things like her. 'You try to be precise,' she explained.'I would recommend almost every human being take an opera class. To exist and never have sung with your full body as loud as you could possibly sing...'Jolie continued, 'It's something I think we should all feel. It's scary, and it is rarely asked of us. 'It's rarely asked of us in life to be all that we can be or feel all that we feel,' she concluded.The film debuts in select theaters on November 27 and on Netflix on December 11th.

Et jamais très loin de la comédie musicale ? La mise en scène, qui entrecoupera des confessions de la diva dans un grand hôtel parisien des années 1970, des plus grandes apparitions de scène de sa carrière, sera donc aussi l'occasion d'une performance vocale inédite pour Angelina Jolie.L'actrice, qui n'avait pas tourné depuis son étonnante expérience Marvel en 2019 (Les Éternels) se place déjà dans le haut des pronostics pour l'Oscar de la meilleure performance. Et cette immersion sans précédent pourrait bien entraîner le symptôme du rôle fantôme : "Les personnages réels vous les traînez avec vous. C'est comme si c'était ma soeur désormais, j'ai appris à la connaître très intimement. Je sourirais d'une façon toujours un peu particulière lorsque j'entendrais sa musique, tant je me sens proche d'elle, tant je la connais."

Previously, the mom-of-six won an Oscar the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Lisa Rowe, a diagnosed sociopath, in the 1999 psychological thriller Girl, Interrupted.In 2008, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Christine Collins in the mystery crime drama Changeling.           Angelina Jolie brought her own sense of lowkey luxe to a panel discussion about her new film Maria in London on Saturday.The actress, 49, who has reportedly gone official with rumored boyfriend Akala, was solo as she left the event which took place at the Ham Yard Hotel.For her appearance, the Oscar winner chose a knee-length black-and-gray plaid cape over a black skirt and high heel black boots.The Eternals star wore a sheer cream-toned blouse beneath the covering and accessorized with a thick gold necklace in the shape of a rope.Her long, highlighted hair was parted on the side and styled straight. The silver screen beauty's makeup looked natural with a neutral pink lip. Jolie carried a black sharpie with her in order to sign autographs for fans waiting for her to walk by.Netflix, which produced Jolie's latest film, hosted a special screening with a question and answer session afterward for attendees. The biopic portrays famed opera singer Maria Callas, considered one of the greatest singers of all time, during her final days in Paris. Callas died in September 1977. At the film's London premiere, Jolie, who is known for her dramatic and action roles, spoke about the challenge of playing the opera superstar. 'I had a wonderful director [Pablo Larraín] who supported me and made me feel safe and believed in me,' she told the Irish Independent. Speaking of her new found singing voice the eternal student explained, 'It's quite a gift to have lessons and to be at a time in your life where you get to learn a new skill.' 'I had wonderful teachers and to be this extraordinary human being and be in her shoes, and I love her.' In an interview with Reuters, Jolie spoke more of her affection for the woman she portrayed saying, 'The more I studied her and the more I learned about her, the more about her.''I wanted to remind some people, not only of her and her music, but also who this human being was. In doing so, the Girl, Interrupted star said she found her own voice.
