The Maleficent actress was seen as she exited a black Cadillac Escalade ahead of her second-oldest child, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 19, who got out of the same vehicle behind her. The 48-year-old Academy Award winner held a large cream leather tote bag as she clutched a trench coat against her chest.The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star, named Hollywood's highest-paid actress multiple times, wore a sleeveless black below-the-knee dress with black pointed-toe heels. The three time Golden Globe winner wore little to no makeup behind oversized shades, styled her highlighted tresses straight over her shoulder, and accessorized her look with multiple silver earrings and a gold bracelet.Meanwhile, her son Pax wore a white T-shirt, tan pants, and brown Nikes. The filmmaker and humanitarian daughter of legendary actor Jon Voight recently appeared in Marvel's Eternals and the Warner Bros drama Those Who Wish Me Dead. Recently, Jolie initiated the Women for Bees non-profit program in Mexico, which aims to empower and educate local women on beekeeping and bee care practices. On Monday, Jolie headed out for sushi with three of her six children: Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, and Shiloh. Jolie and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, share six children: Maddox, 21; Pax, 19; Zahara, 18; Shiloh, 17, and twins, Vivienne and Knox, 14. Maddox, Zahara, and Pax were welcomed into the family through adoption from orphanages in Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. The other three children are biologically related to their parents.
Recently, there has been news coverage of Angelina's legal dispute with Pitt over the Chateau Miraval winery, which they purchased as a couple in 2008. The 59-year-old Bullet Train star accused Jolie of selling her portion of the winery with the intent to willfully 'inflict harm' by entering into the sale with a total 'stranger,' thus violating their agreement.According to RadarOnline.com, which obtained court documents, Angelina slammed Brad's claims as 'frivolous, malicious, and part of a problematic pattern.' However, Pitt claimed they agreed not to sell their stake in the property without approving it with each other as they were both owners. The documents added, 'Pitt's allegations that he and Ms. Jolie had a secret, unwritten, unspoken contract to a consent right on the sale of their interests in the property is directly contrary to the written record and, among other legal defects, violative of the Statute of Frauds and public policy.' Jolie was critical of advertising of the winery, saying she 'was shaken by the recent imagery that was released to sell the alcohol.' Jolie said she could no longer 'be involved, publicly or privately, in a business based on alcohol' and that the 'business is therefore past the point of anything that [she] could be part of.' Pitt sued Jolie in February after she sold her share of the winery to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler and his Stoli Group subsidiary, Tenute del Mondo. Pitt said in court docs that while Jolie did pledge 40 percent of the $28.4 million they invested in the winery, she had not done any work on the project. He said that the sale also violated a 'mutual understanding' in their 2019 divorce pact in that they agreed not to sell their interest in the venue without the approval of the other. In September, Jolie's one-time company Nouvel sued Pitt for $250 million, saying he 'masterminded a so-far-successful plan' to control the winery. Pitt and Jolie, who wed in 2014 and split in 2016, have been entangled in the legal system amid battles on multiple issues over the past six years.

Shocking new details have been revealed about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's seemingly never-ending legal battles stemming from their acrimonious 2016 split. In a new article for Vanity Fair's July/August edition, special correspondent Mark Seal delved into Brangelina's dispute over their once-beloved French winery, Chateau Miraval. The couple bought the vineyard in 2008 for around 25 million Euros and became 50/50 owners of the property as well as its wine making enterprise. Among those who spoke to Vanity Fair are the couple's former head of security, winemakers, real estate brokers and others with intimate knowledge of the couple's time in the south of France. The report notes that in 2021, Jolie, 47, and Pitt, 58, appeared to have come to an agreement in which he would purchase her half of the business. The deal stalled when Pitt tried to insert an NDA that would prevent the Maleficent star from publicly talking about their infamous argument in front of their kids on a private jet in 2016, according to the Vanity Fair piece. Representatives for Pitt have maintained that in fact it was Jolie who first broached the idea of an NDA, when the 12 Monkeys star began negotiating about the contents of the agreement, that's when Jolie backed away from the deal. Pitt and Jolie met in 2005 on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, playing a bored married couple who discover they are both assassins hired by competing agencies to kill one another.They married at Chateau Miraval in 2014 and parented six kids – three biological and three adopted – who are now aged between 14 and 21. The Vanity Fair piece notes that cracks began appearing in the marriage in 2015. Those tensions reached boiling point as the family were returning to the US from Chateau Miraval in 2016. 'By September 14, 2016, tensions between and had been boiling for about a year. They tried to keep their arguments between themselves and had made a point to never argue in front of the children. Until the plane,' Seal wrote. The couple's head of security Gary Bradbury told the magazine that in 15 years working Pitt, he never saw him drunk. On the day of the flight from Nice, France, to Los Angeles that included a refueling stop in Minnesota, Pitt was 'drinking quite a bit.' 'Brad was drinking, and the confrontation got out of hand. He was absolutely wrong in how he behaved but immediately apologized and acknowledged that he had crossed a line,' another source said. 'He will always regret [it], and right away took steps to address this and try to make amends,' the source added. Following the incident, Pitt became sober. Jolie filed for divorce shortly after that incident and a long legal battle, primarily over the custody of their six children, ensued.The pair were also in dispute over the fate their Chateau Miraval property.
When it looked as though an agreement was in place, Jolie pulled back when she learned about the NDA. Vanity Fair quotes a source close to Pitt alleging that the NDA was just related to the winery 'to ensure the seller doesn’t damage the value of the asset after being paid for it.' Pitt alleged, through lawyers, that the real reason Jolie walked away from the deal was because she was angry about separate custody ruling which had granted him more access. Jolie's lawyers also sought to correct an unfair depiction of her role in the success of the wine brand during their ownership, claiming she had invested $60 million into the company. A Pitt-related source said her investment was more like $38 million. It was earlier reported that Pitt learned that estranged wife had sold half of their property and business to a 'Russian oligarch' from a press release. The couple had a 'mutual and binding commitment' to the $160 million Chateau Miraval business and agreed not to sell up without the other's permission. According to Vanity Fair, Jolie says that 'no such agreement ever existed.' Pitt discovered his ex-wife had 'secretly' sold her 50 percent stake when a 2021 press release announced that he had new business partners, according to the actor's lawyers. The buyer was part of a 'Russia-affiliated' vodka conglomerate headed by Shefler, who would use his new relationship with the A-lister to enhance and improve his reputation, court filings alleged. 'For Jolie, the sale was a business transaction she had every right to make. ‘In an effort to preserve her own mental health and well-being, she looked for and found what she believed would be a good business partner for Pitt,' a source told Vanity Fair.While Pitt saw the sale as a 'betrayal.''It is not a coincidence that she sold her interest in Miraval to an adversarial party, and part of the family home to a stranger, right after a judge granted a huge win: 50-50 custody,' a source close to Pitt told Vanity Fair. The Fight Club star attempted to fight Jolie's sale to Shefler. By selling instead to Shefler, Jolie linked the Chateau Miraval to Russia and Vladimir Putin - hurting the brand perhaps irreparably, Pitt alleges. In a counterclaim Jolie accused Pitt of forcing her into selling to his company, Mondo Bongo, and spreading lies that Shefler's connections and dealings with the Kremlin.
Pitt was further accused of hiding assets and using profits from the wine on a swimming pool and ornate staircase that was rebuilt multiple times. 'The only thing that Jolie's Cross-Complaint gets right is that she and Pitt purchased Château Miraval as a 'loving home for their six children,' Pitt's lawyers protested in documents filed in 2022. 'As set forth in Plaintiffs' Second Amended Complaint, Pitt and Jolie had a mutual and binding commitment, reflected by their conduct and statements to one another over time, that they would hold Miraval together and, if the time came, that they would sell their interests separately only with the other's consent.'The filing said Pitt trusted Jolie and thus 'devoted his time and his resources to renovating the estate and building a highly successful wine business.''Jolie, though supportive of Pitt's efforts on behalf of the family, did none of the work necessary for Miraval's success,' the filing goes on.'Instead, she allowed Pitt to pour money and sweat equity into the business in reliance on her promise to hold Miraval together, as well as the contractual rights her holding company Nouvel owed his. By the time of their separation, Pitt's investment exceeded Jolie's by nearly $50 million.' The legal battle apparently continues to this day, with French authorities investigating the business, report VF. The Vanity Fair article ends by noting that since September 2016, nobody from either Pitt or Jolie families have returned to stay at the property.

The actress famously rocked a similar look in the 1999 psychological drama Girl, Interrupted, where she had a mid-length golden hairstyle while playing antagonist Lisa Rowe — a rebellious yet charismatic sociopath.The mother-of-six was pictured looking chic as ever while working on her new collection with Chloe, in two images released by the fashion house. One photo saw her in an elegant sleeveless black gown with her hair styled straight as she worked with the team on the upcoming fashion range. Another photo saw her discussing some ideas with the others at a table, while sporting a beige coat. The superstar has mostly kept to a darker hair color over the years and has worn her hair long, aside from rocking a pixie haircut back in the late 90's. The collection is inspired by the pair's mutual 'high ideals for the betterment of our species' and the Tomb Raider star is donating her earnings from the collaboration to invest in 'establishing apprenticeships for tailors and artisans at Atelier Jolie'. In late March, the Beverly Hills native filed for a global trademark under the name Atelier Jolie.A source told The Sun at the time that plans for the new company would include 'everything from custom-made jewelry to couture clothing and tailoring.'The insider added, 'She is a huge advocate for sustainable fashion and this is something the brand will have a major focus on.'The plan is still very much in its infancy but the wheels are in motion,' the source noted.
Jolie also apparently wasn't limited her new line to just clothing and jewelry, as it was said to include bedding and other household supplies. Jolie previously dipped her toes into the jewelry world with the launch of her Style of Jolie jewelry line more than a decade ago.It appears that last major release from the line was back in 2018. Although there is no indication yet of what kinds of fashion Atelier Jolie will focus on, though it's likely in good hands, as the Oscar winner has been a fashion icon going back to her buzzy red carpet appearances in the 1990s.Back in February of 2021, Jolie spoke about her fashion inspirations with British Vogue, and she revealed that she goes out of her way to repurpose older looks and to focus on timeless designs.'I invest in quality pieces, and then just wear them to death,' she said of her eye-catching wardrobe.She noted that she would find a pair of 'boots, a favorite coat, a favorite purse' and stick with those items for a considerable time.Jolie said that reusing well-made items and purchasing from vintage shops would be 'part of the way forward' to a more sustainable future.
