She has become a global style icon and a Hollywood A-lister, starring in a string of action movies adored by millions of fans.But even Angelina Jolie had to start her career somewhere – and that meant modelling clothes for Debenhams and Miss Selfridge for a little-known British magazine.The long lost pictures, taken when Jolie was just 18, were published under the headline 'Honeychild' in Look in 1993. And Angelina was such an unknown that even her name was misspelled – with a 'j' replacing the 'g' in her first name in a caption.Living in Los Angeles in her late teens, Angelina signed to the Nina Blanchard agency after her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, suggested she do some modelling.In the pictures she is seen in two separate shoots: squatting on the floor of a desert, and kneeling on a beach and reaching for the sky.It is not known if she agreed with the magazine's claim that 'beige is not boring – it encourages people to open up to you.' Angelina also made her professional acting debut in 1993, playing her first leading role in the science-fiction film Cyborg 2.Three years later, she appeared in the road movie Mojave Moon, prompting the Hollywood Reporter to write: 'Jolie is an actress whom the camera truly adores.' Then came the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider in 2001, and it was clear that a major new star had been born.Angelina is now married to Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt and the couple have six children.

Angelina Jolie’s art teacher shares her insights into the world’s most intriguing family – the Jolie Pitts.When Indigenous artist Bibi Barba was summoned to teach an art class for a mysterious “very high- profile” client’s children, she never imagined the mansion door would be opened to reveal world-famous actress Angelina Jolie and her children Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6.In town for the world premiere of Angelina’s movie Unbroken late last year, the “rainbow” family had taken up top-secret residence in James Packer’s $40 million Vaucluse mansion in Sydney’s upmarket eastern suburbs.Bibi recalls how an ethereal Ange, 39, dressed in black jeans and a black T-shirt, glided into the spectacular marble foyer and stood before her, her hands pressed together in a prayer-like position at her heart.“Yours is the most ancient culture in the world,” Ange said solemnly to Bibi, before bowing to her in what appeared to be a Buddhist gesture of respect.“I want to learn about your culture,” Angelina continued, her piercing hazel eyes looking intently into Bibi’s.“My home is your home. Shiloh, dressed in cute white knickerbockers and a navy T-shirt, beamed up at Bibi excitedly. “I’m Shi,” she said, dispelling widespread rumours the couple’s cherub-faced biological daughter would only answer to her self-imposed nickname of John.“I’m Vi-vi!” called out golden-locked Vivienne, standing beside her in a sweet floral print dress. Jon Voight is not one to remain silent. Voight sent an exclusive video to Just Jared on Saturday night, showing his support of Israel while condemning President Obama.“I love Israel. I want to see Israel survive and not be overtaken by the mad men of this world,” Jon Voight said.Then, Mr. Voight continued with harsh words towards Obama.“President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel. In this way, he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies. He doesn’t want Bibi Netanyahi to win this upcoming election. America has not been the same since his presidency. I beg all of you to understand the truth.” John Voight has been very outspoken about his support for Israel. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Voight wrote a pretty harsh letter to Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, both who publicly condemned Israel. “My name is Jon Voight and I am more than angry, I am heartsick that people like Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem could incite anti-Semitism all over the world and are oblivious to the damage they have caused. They are obviously ignorant of the whole story of Israel’s birth, when in 1948 the Jewish people were offered by the UN a portion of the land originally set aside for them in 1921, and the Arab Palestinians were offered the other half.” Jon Voight then asked all those in Hollywood who signed the “poison letter” against Israel to examine their motives. Voight accused them of helping to stroke the fire of anti-Semitism that is raging all over the world. “You have been able to become famous and have all your monetary gains because you are in a democratic country: America. Do you think you would have been able to accomplish this in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, et cetera? You had a great responsibility to use your celebrity for good. Instead, you have defamed the only democratic country of goodwill in the Middle East: Israel. You should hang your heads in shame. You should all come forth with deep regrets for what you did, and ask forgiveness from the suffering people in Israel.” Though it has been rumored that Voight’s daughter Angelina Jolie agrees with her father, don’t expect the hotter-than-hot actress to make her support for Israel public.
