Brad Pitt filed his response to Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing on Friday, November 4. The actor is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their six kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, documents obtained by Us Weekly show.Jolie, who is seeking sole custody of their children, first filed for divorce from her estranged husband on September 19. In his filing, Pitt lists their date of separation as September 15.Pitt’s filing comes just days after Us confirmed that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has extended their investigation into the actor for alleged child abuse. According to a legal source, “it’s normal [for the DCFS] to extend past the deadline to complete their work when an agreement exists between the parties.” As previously reported, Jolie was prompted to file for divorce from Pitt, after more than a decade together, after he got into an alleged altercation while aboard their private plane with their son Maddox. (A source close to Pitt previously told Us that “the abuse suggestions are inaccurate,” and that Pitt is taking the investigation very seriously and is cooperating with authorities.) After going weeks without seeing his dad, Us exclusively revealed that Maddox refused to attend Pitt’s first monitored visit with his kids. “He chose not to go and stayed with Angie,” a source told Us at the time. “It wasn’t full of joy and happiness.”That said, Jolie “is not trying to poison the kids against Brad,” another source previously told Us. “She wants them to have a relationship with him once their health and safety is assured.” Jolie currently has full custody of the kids after the exes signed off on a temporary, voluntary custody arrangement.Us Weekly has reached out to both Pitt and Jolie’s reps.

Brad Pitt's reunion with his kids apparently didn't have a Hollywood ending.Maddox Jolie-Pitt refused to attend an emotional reunion with Brad Pitt as sources told US Weekly that the 15-year-old "doesn't really see himself" as Pitt's son.The teen reportedly chose to stay with mom Angelina Jolie, while his siblings Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, met with Pitt for a supervised visit on Oct. 8 for the first time since Maddox got into an altercation with Pitt on a private jet on Sept. 14.Maddox is very close with Angie," a source close to Jolie told the mag. "He doesn't really see himself as Brad's son."Maddox and Pitt were involved in a mid-air altercation on a Sept. 14 flight, which led to an anonymous call being placed with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services [DCFS] claiming the "Fight Club" actor was both physically and verbally abusive towards his eldest son. A source close to Pitt told the Daily News that allegations he was physically abusive towards his son were "fabricated.""He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse," the source said. An investigation by the DCFS was ongoing as of Sept. 30 when the pair reached a temporary custody agreement, which expires on Oct. 20.The parents agreed to joint physical custody of the six children, but it seems Maddox has chosen sides — a decision that is available to children over 14 in California. "Maddox never wants to see Brad again," a source close to Jolie told Us Weekly.Maddox was adopted from Cambodia by Jolie in 2002 — two years before she began dating Pitt. The "World War Z" star officially adopted Maddox in 2006.Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, on Sept. 19, citing irreconcilable differences and a date of separation as Sept. 15.

While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt work out the terms of their divorce, Jolie’s older brother, James Haven, is currently playing manny to the couple’s six children at their temporary home in Malibu, a source tells Us Weekly.“He took on a more active daily role in June,” the source explains. “The kids call him ‘Uncle James.’” Haven, 43, is perhaps best remembered for sharing an infamous kiss with Jolie, 41, on the Oscars red carpet in 2000, when his younger sister, in full goth mode, won the Academy Award for best supporting actress (for Girl, Interrupted) and said, “I’m so in love with my brother right now” at the podium. Angelina Jolie and her kids have reportedly moved into a rental home, which she allegedly rushed to secure after deciding to file for divorce earlier this month.A staff member for the 41-year-old actress found the home in the second week of September and it is being rented on a month-to-month basis at a rate of $95,000 a month, according to People.“You could tell Angelina was in a rush to find a new house,” a source told the mag. “Her people signed a lease very quickly. They only seemed concerned about if it was an appropriate house for kids.”The home features five bedrooms and is a “very peaceful property and very kid-friendly.” Angelina and her estranged husband Brad Pitt are the parents of six kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Angelina Jolie Buys 8 1/2 Foot Tall Teddy Bear From Kids on Side of Road

Angelina Jolie took an 8 1/2 foot tall teddy bear over the hands of a pair of kids trying to sell the behemoth stuffed animal on the side of the road in California over the weekend, according to TMZ. Tim Alexander and his 8-year-old twins were standing on the side of a road in Toluca Lake Sunday, holding "For Sale" signs for a monster teddy bear sitting on a blue couch, when a Cadillac pulled up, TMZ said. Jolie and Shiloh were in the car. The boys were asking for $50 for the bear, but Jolie handed them each $50. She stopped for a photo with the kids, though they didn't know who she was until their father told them later.
