Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh Jolie officially DROPS actor's surname amid rift and bitter Angelina Jolie divorce

Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh Jolie has legally dropped her father's surname. Shiloh, who hired and paid for her own lawyer when she filed to drop the Pitt name on her 18th birthday in May, filed to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. TMZ reports there was no formal hearing for the name change - with the petition granted on Monday, per official court documents. Last month Shiloh took out a newspaper ad marking the name change - which is a standard step before the court would approve a name change. The notice also stated anyone who had objections to the petition should show up in court. A source close to the matter told Dailymail.com last month: ‘Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn’t know and can’t speak for it. 'But, if you’re asking if this is connected to the abuse history or the violation of Shiloh’s victims rights, yes, that’s part of it.’ The revelation that Shiloh paid herself suggests that the ugly spat between former couple Pitt, 60, and Jolie, 48, may still rumble on in the form of legal action from the six children the couple once shared. There have been long custody battles which ended eventually in a victory for Pitt, who got 50-50 custody in 2021 only to have it overturned on appeal. He’s had a judge intervene to tell Angelina she mustn’t listen in on his mobile phone calls with the children. The judge has also ordered ‘reunification therapy’ for Pitt and the kids. The actor set up a skate park in his home for Shiloh, and more recently an art studio to reflect their common interest in art. He’s sent cars and security to ferry the children from her home to his whenever there is an allotted custody visit. Sadly, none of it has brought them closer. In fact son Pax said in an Instagram post in 2016 that all four of the youngest children – that’s including Shiloh – ‘tremble with fear in his presence.’ The two elder ones were at that point already declining point blank to see him. The current situation has seen the children - Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh 18, and Knox and Vivienne, 16 - form a tight gang of seven with his former wife.
A central issue seems to be a notorious private jet confrontation in 2016.An FBI report on the incident, which was published in 2022, saw Jolie accuse Pitt of physical assault while flying to California in 2016. She claimed that he was intoxicated and that he grabbed her by the head and shook her, and later pushed her down, as part of a confrontation allegedly related to their children. Jolie told the FBI that Pitt told the children that she was 'f***ing up this family,' and she said he punched the ceiling of the airplane four times. he claimed that at one point he poured beer on her and a blanket she was under with multiple children. Source close to Pitt later claimed that he never hit any of the children, though they admitted that he had been drinking. This comes amid recent claims that Pitt and Jolie's divorce - which has now dragged on for eight years - is still ongoing as neither of the stars can 'let it go. A source told People 'their disagreements took over' in the relationship, adding that things 'turned nasty and it was not a good situation for anyone.' 'All the bitterness is partly why the divorce has dragged on for so many years. Neither will let it go. You’d think they would be over it and just settle.' A separate insider said: 'Both of them were having issues with each other. The differences added up over time. It's really sad for the children, but also the parents. Divorce, especially one so high-profile, can be challenging for the whole family. 'They both care. They both care about the children.' Pitt and Jolie began dating publicly shortly after he and his then-wife Jennifer Aniston announced their divorce in 2005. The Mr. And Mrs. Smith costars remained unmarried for years despite having multiple adopted and biological children together, but they got engaged in 2012 and finally tied the knot in 2014. However, it was only around two years later when the Maleficent actress filed for divorce in 2016. She and Pitt were declared legally single in 2019. Pitt is now dating Ines de Ramon, 35.

Angelina Jolie was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, August 11, marking the first time she's been seen since her son Pax's harrowing e-bike crash on July 29. The 49-year-old mother-of-six — who shares her brood with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 60— was dressed in an all-black outfit consisting of a long dress and overcoat. Pax, 20, was released from the ICU earlier this month.Angelina was reportedly 'shocked and worried' after learning that her son had crashed in late July. Pax, who is estranged from dad Brad, hit the back of a stopped car at an intersection on Los Feliz Boulevard. Angelina is believed to have been helping Pax recover, while Brad has been 'heartbroken' at being left out of the situation. At the airport on Sunday, Jolie looked glamorous in a pair of large black sunglasses as she carried a designer tote with red-manicured hands. Her blonde-highlighted hair blew in the breeze as it fell over her chest.
The movie star rounded out her sleek look with a pair of espadrille sandals with a block heel and brown straps. Meanwhile, her son is 'still recovering' in the wake of the crash, a source told People last week. It was added that he is 'uncomfortable' and will 'need further treatments' down the line. Pax appeared to have hit his head when he collided with the vehicle, and he was not wearing a helmet at the time. The source said that he is 'very lucky' to not have more significant injuries. 'It could have been much worse [because] he didn't wear a helmet,' the person said. Angelina and her other children — Maddox, 22; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 — banded together to support Pax in the aftermath.'Angie was shocked and worried when she got the call about the accident,' the insider noted, adding that her five other children 'are supporting Pax as best as they can.'
A source previously told People that Angelina's son had 'suffered complex trauma' from the crash and will require physical therapy.Pax's medical emergency happened amid his ongoing estrangement from his father Brad Pitt. An insider exclusively told DailyMail.com that Brad has been distressed over getting 'radio silence' from his family regarding Pax's condition. 'Don't expect Pax's accident to bring the family dynamic back in any way as Pax is 100 percent on Angie's side and doesn't want any well wishes or remorse from Brad,' the person close to the situation shared. Although Brad was 'upset' that his son was injured and hoped to 'help out in any way possible,' the insider said that prospect 'doesn't seem to be something that will ever happen [because] there is a forever disconnect and divide between them all.''It is gutting Brad that it has got to this point that he can't even be a worried dad, as all he is getting is radio silence from finding out exactly what is going down with his son,' the source said. 'It is just another distressed circumstance that is part of Brad's normal life,' it was added. 'He wishes that everyone could be above it all [because] this situation involves people's lives, but emotions as they are between Pax, Angie and Brad are so bad that there will never be a time where it gets to a place where things are OK,' the person said of the fraught family dynamic. However, someone else close to Angelina claimed that Brad has made 'no effort' to try to see Pax since his crash.

Angelina Jolie's reclusive godmother Jacqueline Bisset, 79, breaks cover amid family drama over Brad Pitt's son Pax

Angelina Jolie's reclusive godmother - a Hollywood legend - has broken cover for the first time in over a year as the actress deals with family crisis. Jacqueline Bisset, 79, confirmed that she and Jolie, 49, are still on good terms as she spoke briefly while on a trip to a pet shop in Los Angeles this week. But British-born Bisset, who was close friends with Jolie’s late mother Marcheline Bertrand, stayed tight lipped when asked if she had any contact with the star's children. Bisset made a name for herself in Hollywood decades ago with starring roles in Murder on the Orient Express and Bullitt. She grew close to Jolie's family after starring with her father Jon Voight in thriller The End of the Game in 1971, and over the years has gushed over her A-list goddaughter. 'I find her rather extraordinary,' she said at the Los Angeles premiere of Jolie's movie Original Sin in 2001. 'Her whole aura is breathtaking, and it's amazing how much she's changed in different stages [of life]. She's evolved so much.' When asked this week whether she is still close with Angelina, she replied simply: 'Yes, everything's good.' Jacqueline, who turns 80 in September, wore a large smile on her shopping trip for pet items, stopping briefly to answer questions. She donned a comfortable blue shirt, jeans, sandals and stylish sunglasses for the jaunt in Los Angeles. But Bisset stayed silent when questioned over Jolie's children, who have made headlines in their own right in recent years following the breakdown of her marriage to Pitt. The couple's son Pax suffered a terrifying accident a week ago after crashing his electric dirt bike into the back of a car stopped at a red light. Witnesses at the scene said Pax immediately complained about pain in his head and hip after the crash, and was rushed to hospital as paramedics feared he suffered bleeding on his brain. A source close to Angelia Jolie told Dailymail.com she's 'by his side in hospital' where he remains in a stable condition.' The full extent of his injuries are not yet clear. But despite their lack of contact, a source told DailyMail.com: 'Brad is distraught and worried over Pax's accident, but he is unable to reach him. Pax has been been estranged from Pitt since an alleged domestic violence incident with on a private jet with ex-wife Angelina in 2016. In an Instagram post from 2020, he called his Pitt a 'world class a***hole' and an 'awful human being'. 'You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want,' he added. 'But the truth will come to light someday.' At the time, sources said Pitt found it 'depressing to see this dragged up.' And following Pax's accident, sources said the divide between Pitt and his adopted son left him heartbroken. 'It is very upsetting to Brad whenever he hears of one of the kids being hurt and he feels completely powerless because there is nothing that he can do at all.' 'A father's inclination would be to go to the hospital, or to call him. He's tried so many times but the kids won't take his calls. His hands are tied.' n'Brad doesn't think that Pax should be driving a scooter without a helmet to begin with - he should have been in a car,' the insider said, in a subtle swipe at Angelina. Jolie adopted Pax from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2007 when he was three. He had been dumped as a newborn by his heroin-addicted biological mother.

Brad later joined her in adopting him in 2006. Angelina and Brad are legally divorced but are still fighting over the sale of Miraval, the vineyard in France.Last week, the Eternals star accused Brad of trying to have her sign a $8.5 million non-disclosure agreement related to her allegations of abuse, according to People. She had previously accused him of assaulting her on a private jet while they were traveling with their children.

Angelina Jolie's son Pax finally released from ICU but faces 'long' recovery after suffering 'complex trauma' in crash... but estranged dad Brad Pitt remains frozen out amid ugly divorce

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Pax has been released from ICU following his e-bike crash. The 20-year-old will have a 'long road of recovery' and 'suffered complex trauma' a source told People of his condition.'Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy.' The insider added that Pax and Angelina, 49, 'are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.' The Oscar winner remains by her son's side, as well as his other siblings, with the source noting they 'have been visiting and helping', and adding, 'They are all very close.'As for Pax's estranged father Brad, a rep for the 60-year-old actor declined to comment when asked by DailyMail.com if he planned to visit his son in hospital. It comes following claims that the actress is reportedly seeking help for her 'troubled' son. Angelina has been by Pax's side at the hospital since he crashed into a car during rush hour in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles on Monday, July 29.He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. A source told TMZ on Tuesday that witnesses who lived nearby initially believed Pax had died in the crash as they discovered him lying lifeless on the ground. It was not until paramedics arrived at the scene that Pax regained consciousness. Page Six is reporting that this was not the first time the young man has been involved in incidents involving two and four wheeled vehicles. 'His friends are concerned about him,' an insider told the outlet alleging, 'He's being reckless. They're worried.' DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Angelina for comment. 'He has had a string of car crashes,' the source asserted. 'It's not great. Pax is a troubled kid, and Angelina is doing her best to help him.' The publication reported that LAPD sources said there was nothing new to add to the initial report of a traffic collision, when asked if charges might be pending. Responding police and paramedics opted to rush Pax to the hospital after he complained of head pain.
Despite his injuries, TMZ's source claimed that Pax's bike did not show any obvious signs of damage.Pax — who like several of his other siblings is estranged from his famous father — had reportedly been driving down Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m., which put him on the regularly crowded street during rush hour traffic. According to law enforcement sources, he had been coming up to an intersection when he crashed his bike into the back of the car, which had already stopped for the red light. The car's driver reportedly did their duty by getting out and checking on the injured Pax before police and paramedics arrived. Although it's not clear exactly where he collided with the car, witnesses at the scene said he complained of pain in his hip, and they said he appeared to have injured his head in the crash. In recent months, Pax has been spotted around Los Angeles riding on a Talaria Sting R MX4 electric bike, which costs around $3,000, though it's not known if that was the same bike he crashed. He was most recently pictured on the dirt bike on July 11. Notably, he wasn't wearing a helmet when he was pictured riding the bike in public. California state laws require all bike and motorcycle riders under 18 to wear helmets, but it's unclear if the type of bike Pax was riding at the time would have required him to wear a helmet. The crash also reportedly took place on a street near Angelina's Los Angeles residence. Angelina rushed to the hospital to be by her son's beside following the crash. Pax, who was born in Vietnam, was adopted by Jolie at age three, joining siblings Maddox, 22, and Zahara, 19.
He is reportedly close to them as well as siblings Shiloh, 18,  and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. Maddox and Zahara were adopted by Jolie's then-partner, Brad, in 2005 and he adopted Pax in 2008. All three of the older children have been estranged from Pitt following an incident on a private airplane in 2016, when the actor allegedly hit one of his children. No charges were filed after an investigation into the alleged incident.  Jolie and Pitt are legally divorced but are still fighting over the sale of Miraval, the vineyard in France. On Thursday, the Eternals star accused Pitt of trying to have her sign a $8.5 million non-disclosure agreement related to her allegations of abuse, according to People. 'In the court paper, the Maleficent star asserted she 'was not acting with malice and the intent to hurt Pitt in response to any custody ruling' when she sold her share of Miraval in 2021.'Instead,' she told the court in the filing, 'it was Pitt who refused to buy her interest unless he received his newly expanded NDA, enforceable by an $8.5 million holdback specifically designed to force her silence about his abuse and cover-up.'
