Angelina Jolie is not terrified about her kids doing online searches about her, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this manufactured claim. We’re told she’s not concerned and has always been honest with her kids.According to the National Enquirer, which mocked up photos of Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children Shiloh, Paxton, and Maddox in front of laptops, the actress is allegedly nervous about what her kids will “read on the internet about a troubled years.” The repeatedly debunked supermarket tabloid quotes a so-called “mole” as saying, “When the kids were younger, Angie and Brad implemented an internet band.” “For the most part, it succeeded in restricting negativity from their lives.” The supposed insider contends since “everyone in the world needs to log onto the internet for pretty much everything,” Jolie’s new “fear is her brood will discover dirt about her split from Brad, as well as her pass romances with actor Billy Bob Thornton and lesbian love, mmodel-actress Jenny Shimizu.” The purported source further claims in unnatural language, “The older kids are logging in and reading the nitty-gritty details about their parents’ troubled marriage, plus the dark secrets about their mom and dad’s pasts.” “Angie winces when she imagines what the kids are seeing about her during those online searches,” adds the misguided “mole.” While all very juicy, the story is untrue. Gossip Cop hears Jolie is not concerned about what the kids may find one day while online, because she feels she lives her life out in the open. An impeccable insider tells us the tabloid’s premise is off-base. Should her children find out, somehow or another, about parts of her past that she hasn’t already told them, we hear she’ll be forthright with them.Of course, the Enquirer’s record with Jolie has been pretty dismal. Just a couple of months ago, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid falsely claimed Jolie weighted 87 pounds and was sick. In reality, the magazine used a photo from 2014 and digitally altered it to make her arms appear much thinner. That story was a total fabrication, as was an article last week that wrongly maintained Jolie was wasting away after Brad Pitt rejected her. And the current report is equally unfounded. A Jolie insider assures Gossip Cop that the actress is unfazed by what her children one day may find online about her.

Angelina Jolie has not banned her 16-year-old son Maddox from dating so he can instead focus on a movie career, despite a newly fabricated report. The article claims the actress doesn’t want the teenager getting distracted by girls, but Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this. We’re told it’s just “nonsense.” Maddox earned an executive producer on his mom’s new film about the Cambodian genocide, First They Killed My Father, for helping out behind-the-scenes. A story published on OK!’s website now says Jolie wants her son to continue down the path of working in Hollywood, and believes girls will get in the way of his professional success. A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “Maddox’s at that age where he wants to hang out at the mall with his friends and flirt with girls, but Angie’s got him on such a tight schedule that he feels smothered.” The tabloid’s supposed insider continues, “She doesn’t want him getting interested in any girls and denies him every opportunity of asking one out. It’s as though nobody’s good enough for him, but Angie insists it’s more about having Maddox focused on his burgeoning movie career.” The seemingly phony source adds, “Angie’s very clear on the direction she wants him to take and as much as he respects that, he feels it’s unfair that he’s not allowed to date.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Jolie, who laughed off the magazine’s report before exclusively assuring us it’s “nonsense.” In fact, when the actress was asked in a recent interview whether Maddox would continue pursuing a film career, she responded, “It’s up to him.” Regardless, we’re told Jolie hasn’t prohibited her son from dating. Gossip Cop often wonders where OK!’s Jolie sources come from and why the publication doesn’t vet them better. It should be clear the alleged Jolie insiders that the magazine relies on are not entirely credible. Nearly a year ago, we busted the tabloid when it falsely claimed Jolie was reuniting with Brad Pitt for Thanksgiving after the actress reached out to him. As Gossip Cop noted, it was untrue, and of course they and their kids did not spend the holiday together.Additionally, six months ago the magazine falsely maintained, based on a purported Jolie insider, that the actress wanted to get back together with her estranged husband. Not only was that untrue, but Gossip Cop also shot down the outlet’s cover story from two weeks ago that wrongly claimed Jolie had Pitt move back in with her. Simply, OK!’s Jolie sources are not OK at all.

It's been a pretty wild year for the Pitt-Jolie family. With Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's extremely public divorce still working its way through the system, who can blame their kids for wanting a fun night out? And that's what Jolie's two oldest sons, 13-year-old Pax and 16-year-old Maddox, were getting when they accompanied their mom to an exclusive New York party this week. Sure, all six of Jolie's kids got to come with her to the red carpet premiere of her new directorial project First They Killed My Father, but only Pax and Maddox got to go to the after-party.The three of them looked stunning in designer duds as they posed for pictures outside the venue. Maddox, who has an executive producing credit on Jolie's new film, even spoke to reporters about working with his mom, saying that she's "fun, funny, and easy to work with. She's a wonder." That's high praise from any teenager, especially after the year the family has had. Headlines have hinted at deep family drama surrounding Jolie's sudden and unexpected divorce from Pitt. Rumors even swirled at one point saying that a physical altercation between Pitt and Maddox had been the last straw for Jolie, prompting her to file her divorce papers.It's good to see the family spending time together, even sans Pitt. The actress, 42, was seen in great spirits as she headed out for lunch, sporting a stylish floor-length tunic dress and sandals.Appearing to go make up free for the outing, Angelina hid her striking features behind a pair of sunglasses and swept her brunette tresses up into a low ponytail.She sported a black tasselled shawl over her shoulders and toted a leather handbag on one shoulder. A source told the site: 'Both sides are hashing out both child custody and property settlements and the divorce is full steam ahead.'
