Be careful what you write about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. At least, that's what celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is learning the hard way.Hilton took to Instagram on Sunday to say he was contacted by Jolie's lawyers, Bert Fields and Priya Sapori, over coverage of the Brangelina divorce.Radar Online reported Fields and Sapori asked Hilton to modify one of his articles on Jolie. Hilton denied their request. In an email back to Jolie's lawyers, Hilton wrote that he has "ALWAYS been a huge fan and SUPPORTER of hers." (His emphasis, not ours.)Hilton went on to express his frustration and even demand an apology, adding that he was "not changing anything." He then ended the letter on a vulgar note."In other news, #AngelinaJolie's lawyers at Greenberg Glusker have just threatened to sue me for my coverage of her split from #BradPitt," Hilton wrote on Instagram. "ME!! I have always been one of Angelina Jolie's loudest and strongest supporters and defenders!!!!! This was my email back to Angelina's lawyers, #BertFields and #PriyaSapori. We’re told it’s “not true.” As Gossip Cop reported, a false report emerged earlier this month claiming Jolie would be teaching at Georgetown University as a visiting professor. Celeb Dirty Laundry is now making the baseless claim that the actress planted the inaccurate story herself in an effort to upstage George Clooney’s wife, Amal, because she’s supposedly jealous of the human rights lawyer’s accomplishments.Without a single source to back up its bogus theory, the site says Jolie is envious about Amal’s job last year teaching a semester of International Human Rights Law at Columbia University, and alleges the actress is now trying to “steal the spotlight” by “planting rumors for the press to feed on.” First of all, Jolie already has the prestigious honor of serving as a visiting professor at the London School of Economics in the fall, so there’s no reason the actress would need to concoct another teaching gig.Regardless of the outlet’s story making little sense, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively tells us Jolie didn’t “plant” the inaccurate Georgetown report, nor are she and Amal in any sort of feud. We’re assured the webloid’s entire tale is simply “not true.” In fact, Gossip Cop has corrected several previous tabloid stories alleging a nonexistent feud between the two women, seemingly just because their husbands Brad Pitt and George Clooney are close friends. Georgetown University students in a tizzy over the news of your newest professor, we’re here to disappoint you. Angelina Jolie will not be a visiting professor at the Washington, D.C. school, a spokeswoman for the university said Saturday.The rumor, which was originally reported by Us Weekly, stems from the (true) announcement that Jolie will be a visiting professor at the London School of Economics this fall. She will deliver guest lectures to students of the school’s one-year master’s degree program on “Women, Peace and Security.”That program is a “sister program” with the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, spokeswoman Rachel Pugh said, but “there are no current plans for Angelina Jolie to teach at Georgetown.” And here we thought Brad Pitt was going to become a regular at Baked & Wired. Perhaps the school could hold a screening of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” for the students instead?

The 41-year-old actress and humanitarian will be a visiting professor at the London School of Economics this fall and now Us Weekly is reporting that she “will do the same guest spot” at LSE’s sister school.“It is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict,” Angelina said in a statement while announcing the LSE professor job. “I am looking forward to teaching and learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.”

Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the report.Wednesday’s new cover of In Touch declares, “Angelina Takes On Jen” and “Explosive Showdown… After Brad Reunites With Jen.” Mind you, this is coming from the same outlet that wrongly said Jolie and Aniston were having a showdown in 2014 (see cover below). It’s also the same publication that inaccurately said just last month that Pitt and Aniston were both divorcing their respective spouses, setting the stage for a reconciliation.That, of course, hasn’t happened, but the new edition of the magazine claims Pitt reconnected with Aniston in the wake of her mother’s death, leading Jolie to “go nuclear.” A so-called “friend” is quoted as saying, “She accused him of talking with Jen behind her back. She was furious they’d reunited. She went ballistic and was in tears.”It’s said Jolie then “told Brad she is calling for a face-to-face sit-down with Jen once and for all to clear the air. The showdown has already begun. Angie’s gotten word to Jen through her handlers that she wants a sit-down in the coming weeks.” The supposed source goes on to claim, “Angie’s greatest fear is that in a classic case of what goes around comes around, Brad could someone how end up back in Jen’s arms.“She’s heard that Jen’s been having marriage with Justin Theroux,” continues the alleged tipster, “and Angie wants to make it clear that Brad is hers and hers alone.” As for Pitt, the “friend” tells the outlet, “Brad thought the Angelina-Jennifer war was long dead and buried. But he was clearly wrong.” No, it’s In Touch that’s wrong. The “war” between Aniston and Jolie only continues in the pages of the tabloids, which rather write about fantasy than report on reality. After all, the magazine spent the last two weeks insisting Aniston is happily pregnant with Theroux’s baby, a claim that’s nowhere mentioned in this new love triangle tale.That’s because the magazine seemingly just goes with any sensational angle it can find on a given week, accuracy and consistency be damned. And this new cover story is just as inaccurate as the previous allegation that Aniston is expecting. There is no Jolie-Aniston “showdown” in the works, just as there wasn’t in 2014.
