Hard at work in the land Down Under, Angelina Jolie was on the set of her film "Unbroken" in Cockatoo Island on Monday (December 2).Clad in all-black, the "Changeling" beauty took a hands on approach in her direction, taking breaks between scenes to work with the actors.In other news, Angelina will be co-chairing a global summit alongside British Foreign Secretary William Hague on ending sexual violence in war zones next year in London.On her part in the event, the 38-year-old told reporters,“This summit is long overdue. The goal must be an end to impunity, and justice and respect for the survivors of these horrendous crime… We are committed to see that through no matter what it takes, and I hope other countries will take part and live up to their responsibilities.”

This is bound to be utterly bewitching! Angelina Jolie hasn't got a bad bone in her body and yet she plays a very convincing evil witch in her new role as Sleeping Beauty's baddy, Maleficent.Ahead of the film's release in May 2014, Disney, MAC and Angelina have been very busy creating a must-have make-up collection.Angelina's evil character has inspired the collection which features eye, lip and face products that all channel the menacing villain. Shame Halloween's been and gone hey? When speaking at a Disney event in August, Jolie revealed that she's always had a soft spot for the evil witch:"Maleficent was always my favourite – no surprise ... she had this elegance and grace, yet she was so cruel, just wonderfully, deliciously cruel.'' According to the latest bit of fanfiction news from the National Enquirer, Johnny Depp is worried that girlfriend Amber Heard will cheat on him with Angelina Jolie. Yes, I realize the absurdity of the sentence I just typed, but let’s hear it out.Apparently, Amber is ‘nursing a girl crush‘ on Angelina, and ‘desperately’ wants Johnny to introduce them. If you remember, Johnny and Angelina worked together on the craptastic Tourist movie, but I highly doubt they even keep in touch, so I don’t really know where this whole introduction thing is coming from. However, let’s say for the sake of argument that they’re ‘friends’. Why would Johnny introduce Amber to Angelina if he’s worried that they’ll hook up? Fallacies after fallacies in logic.Of course, the Enquirer also has its ‘source’ add, “Most guys would have no problem with that. But the fact that both Amber and Angie have enjoyed lesbian relationships gives Johnny some cause for worry. Johnny feels Amber and Angie have a lot in common. But he’s just not sure where a friendship between them would go. A part of him fears that if he introduces them, sparks could fly and the who knows what?” Are we just forgetting that Brad Pitt exists in this whole scenario? I guarantee, if Angelina hasn’t cheated on Brad by now, it ain’t gonna happen. I know people love to imagine Angelina as the homewrecker, but those days are far behind her. So even if Amber wants to ‘hook up’ with Angelina, who’s to say the interest will be mutual? And why would Johnny even be insecure enough to care? He’s freaking Johnny Depp. If Amber leaves, he’ll have a million women lined up to take her place.

Angelina Jolie will support a new cancer charity set up by her family. The organisation will be named after her mother Marcheline, aunt and uncle.Angelina Jolie's family are setting up a charity to promote cancer education.The 'Maleficent' actress - who underwent a double mastectomy earlier this year after being diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene - will be involved with the Marcheline Debra and Raleigh Foundation, which is named in honour of her mother, aunt and uncle, who all died of cancer, her uncle Ron Martin has revealed.Ron said: ''Angelina's father Jon Voight will be involved, her brother James [Haven] will be on board. Angelina will help. She and [fiance] Brad Pitt are humanitarians. It's something so close to home.''The actress' family are proud of the way she uses her celebrity status to do humanitarian work and raise awareness of good causes and think her mother Marcheline Bertrand would have been particularly proud of her daughter following her receipt of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the recent Governers Awards.Angelina's cousin Francis Bertrand told Grazia magazine: ''It's great that she uses her star power in the right way. Her mother believed life was meaningful if you gave back. She would have been very proud of her receiving that award.''I hope Angelina inspires with the message she gives. It means a lot to her to be acknowledged. She speaks from the heart.''

Their love for one another has never been in doubt, but Angelina Jolie has apparently reinforced the depth of her feelings for Brad Pitt by buying him his very own heart shaped island.The actress has reportedly paid £12.2 million for secluded Petra as Brad prepares to celebrate his 50th birthday on December 18.Angelina is understood to have snapped up the island, located some 50-miles away from New York City, after discovering its two sprawling properties were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Brad’s favourite architect. A source told The Mirror: ‘As soon as Angelina heard the island was on the market she arranged a viewing. She was really impressed. The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat.‘It’s very private. And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him.’Petra’s original cottage was erected in 1950, while its larger property was built from one of Wright’s blueprints in 2008 – 48-years after his death. The home boasts panoramic views of the surrounding area, ceilings panelled with the finest mahogany and skylights that afford the property plenty of natural lighting.Its spacious kitchen effortlessly juxtaposes new and old, combining conventional fixtures and fittings with highly distinctive work surfaces chiselled out of granite.
An open porch, complete with a carved wooden bench, gives the owner breath-taking views of the surrounding area, while beneath the building’s stone foundations disappear into the water. The finer details of its intricate design will not be lost on architecture fan Brad, who once admitted that Frank Lloyd Wright ‘changed his life.’Angelina has previously treated him to a tour of the late architect’s home, Fallingwater, in 2006.‘He was incredibly well informed about the architecture,’ recalled Cara Armstrong, Fallingwater’s Curator of Education.‘Experiencing Fallingwater in person, hearing the waterfall cascade under the house, was better than anything he imagined.’Angelina is currently in Australia while she directs her new film, war biopic Unbroken, and she’s understood to have rented a property in Vaucluse, New South Wales.The International Business Times report that her new rented abode is one of the top five most affluent suburbs in the area and offers easy access to The Gap, Sydney Harbour and the Tasman Sea.Angelina will stay in Australia until December 2013 while she films the new movie, based on the war experiences of former POW Louie Zamperini.
