Angelina Jolie continued to fuel romance rumors with The Weeknd by stepping out for dinner with him at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Saturday night. The mother-of-six, 46, and the Canadian singer, 31, spent two and a half hours inside a private section of the luxurious family-run Italian restaurant.Angelina arrived at the swanky eatery separately from The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) at 8:05pm, but did leave with him after the meal. She then hopped into the backseat of The Weeknd's waiting black SUV and they drove to his $70M Bel-Air mansion. The estranged second wife of Brad Pitt wore a black double-breasted trench coat, matching pumps, and an Yves Saint Laurent purse. The Weeknd coordinated with her and looked typically suave in a black jacket, skinny jeans, and boots.Giorgio Baldi was also the setting for the pair's first public sighting on June 30. The PDA pair kept lockets of each other's blood and bought grave plots before divorcing in 2003 after two years of wedded bliss. The Come Away actress then fell for her Mr. & Mrs. Smith leading man Brad Pitt, who promptly divorced his wife Jennifer Aniston in 2005. 'Brangelina' went on to have a 12-year relationship - only two years of which they were married. A contentious court battle over their five underage children rages on.The bisexual beauty has also been rumored to have romanced Anton Schneider, Jenny Shimizu, Timothy Hutton, Misty Cooper, Colin Farrell, Val Kilmer, Taye Diggs, and Wyclef Jean.On July 10, Jolie and The Weeknd were both photographed attending the same private concert in Los Angeles. The Those Who Wish Me Dead actress filed for divorce from her third husband Brad Pitt in 2016, while the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show performer has previously romanced Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid.Last Thursday, Angelina and the 57-year-old Oscar winner resolved their legal dispute over their $164M French estate and winery, Chateau Miraval. On September 1, Brad's lawyers filed a petition with the California Supreme Court for a review of the ex-couple's custody case following the 'improper' disqualification of Judge John Ouderkirk. The former American Apparel employee also enjoyed a 10-month relationship with Selena Gomez, which spanned January 2017-October 2017.The 27-year-old 'Texican' pop star then got back together with her on/off flame Justin Bieber, which was said to have inspired The Weeknd's 2018 track I Was Never There.Fans have also combed the lyrics of Privilege, Try Me, Hurt You, Call Out My Name, Wasted Times, and Heartless finding even more thinly-veiled references to Selena and Bella.Jolie had been made aware of Judge Ouderkirk's significant professional history with Pitt's counsel from the very start of the custody case, but waited years to seek his disqualification,' the legal document stated. 'After more than four years of contentious litigation, every day of which has harmed the children and their father, an important and considered custody decision will be entirely undone as a result of an administrative error that is wholly unrelated to the merits of the custody dispute itself.'
As of May, Pitt and Jolie share joint custody of their five underage children - Pax, 17; Zahara, 16; Shiloh, 15; as well as twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.However, Vietnamese-born Pax will become a legal adult when he turns 18 on November 29, and their eldest son Maddox is 20 and attending Yonsei University in Seoul. The former Hollywood wild child next plays fierce warrior Thena, who can form weapons out of cosmic energy, in Marvel Comics flick Eternals hitting US/UK theaters on November 5. Two-time Oscar winner Chloé Zhao's $200M-budget epic also stars Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kit Harrington, and Kumail Nanjiani. The Weeknd was honored with the Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award at the Music in Action Awards Ceremony in West Hollywood last Thursday.'This is the best award I've ever gotten in my life,' the son of Ethiopian immigrants said.I first met Quincy Jones in Vegas a long time ago. He pulled up to one of my club shows and when I got off stage, he was waiting on the side and I was so excited to meet him. There were fans on the other side of the stage screaming and trying to get my attention, but I was so focused on him; the reason why I make music.'He stopped me and he said, "Go take pictures. Sign autographs. And I'll still be here waiting. They're just more important." And it stuck with me until this day. He was teaching me a lesson that nothing is more important than the people and giving back is always better than receiving.'The Weeknd will next produce, co-write, and star in Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim's drama series The Idol for HBO.According to Deadline, the show will 'follow a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic LA club owner who is the leader of a secret cult.'

My Hero Academia’s Lady Nagant Was Inspired by Angelina Jolie

My Hero Academia's new villain Lady Nagant was inspired by Angelina Jolie's Wanted character "Fox" and her ability to bend bullets in fights. It seems that My Hero Academia's Lady Nagant was inspired by Angelina Jolie's character "Fox" from the movie Wanted. As revealed in Weekly Shonen Jump's author's comments, creator Kohei Horikoshi hinted at the inspiration behind the assassin. Leaving many fans more obsessed with the formally renowned hero's past and quirk abilities.
My Hero Academia Volume 32 cover features Lady Nagant, an ex hero assassin contracted by All For One to capture Deku. Volume 32 is set to release in Japan on October 4th, 2021 and the cover quickly glimpses at the deadly assassins' quirk, from her right arm resembling a gun barrel to her two-toned purple/pink hair. The character is striking a fierce pose while a yellow curved bullet outline separates the young hero, Deku from the nightly assassin on the cover. Lady Nagant's combat skills stem from her past as an assassin hired and trained by the Hero Public Safety Commission (the same organization that trained Hawks). However, after witnessing the HPSC's true intentions for maintaining peace, Lady Nagant began to question her purpose as a vigilante hero. She was then sent to Tartarus prison after assassinating the head of the HPSC and later freed with other resident villains Muscular, Stain, Overhaul, and All For One by Shigaraki. In Weekly Shonen Jump #24's author comments, Kohei Horikoshi gave a fun quote revealing the inspiration behind Lady Nagant and her quirk ability "Rifle". The mangaka exclaimed that "I learned you could bend bullets from the movie Wanted. Thank you, Angie!", which had fans excited to spot the comparisons between Lady Nagant and Fox from the 2008 film Wanted. Much like Lady Nagant's profession, Fox is also an assassin with special abilities much similar to a quirk.
Lady Nagant's quirk "Rifle" works as her right arm can turn into a sniper rifle and she's able to create bullets of any size by rubbing together pieces of her hair. She can snipe targets 3 kilometers out (roughly over a mile) and with the quirk "Air Walk" gifted to her by All For One, she's able to enhance her mobility by moving freely in the sky. Fox is also an assassin with rare abilities that allow her to curve or bend bullets at will. She's a master weapons specialist and can increase her heart rate granting her superhuman speed that plays an important role in her ability to curve bullets. Just like Lady Nagant's custom bullets, Fox also uses specially engraved bullets that are lethal to targets and untraceable. Although Lady Nagant and Fox are assassins they aren't inherently bad people.Lady Nagant is still originally a hero and that showed in her escape from Tartarus when she noticed Overhaul needed help escaping from his cell. She could have left the previous head Shie Hassaikai alone but her hero instincts took over and she chose to stay with him when he needed help the most. Angelina Jolie's character Fox was never a hero and betrayed Wesley but still chose to help him after finding out the truth behind the assassin group's leader. Kohei Horikoshi's love for western comics is clear in My Hero Academia but this latest movie reference to the film Wanted left fans excited for future western influences in the popular manga.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reach agreement on sale of shared assets which opens door for actress to sell off shares in $164M winery... but Pitt's recent lawsuit puts bump in the road

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in agreement on a recent decision to lift a 'standard temporary restraining order' on their assets, which was put in place during their divorce proceedings.According to ET, this allows the former couple to sell possessions owned during the span of their two year marriage, which seemingly opens the door for Jolie to offload her 50% shares of their French winery and estate, Chateau Miraval. But earlier this week, Brad filed a lawsuit accusing Jolie of a 'vindictive' plan to sell her shares, circumvent his right of first refusal, and profit from the 'incredible amount of work, time and money' invested by the actor and his business partners, as per exclusive legal docs obtained by DailyMail.com.Chateau Miraval is valued at $164 million (140million Euros). Originally, when the former couple bought their shares of Quimicum, the company that owns the Chateau Miraval, in 2008, Pitt and his company, Mondo Bongo, had a 60/40 majority share over Jolie and her company, Nouvel. But that majority was evened out when Mondo Bongo transferred 10% to Nouvel, according to the lawsuit. The legal documents claim Pitt sold Jolie the shares for a symbolic price of 1 Euro in 2013, which was one year before they were married and three years before Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt. The new lawsuit filed by Pitt's legal team is trying to have that 10% transfer annulled, in a move to restore its 60/40 shareholder majority in the estate, on the grounds that the 1 Euro price tag is not a 'serious' amount as required by Luxembourg law. Sources told Page Six that as part of their agreement, Pitt and Jolie agreed to ask each other for permission if they ever wanted to sell their shares. This new lawsuit also alleges Jolie tried to sell her shares without giving Pitt right of first refusal, and profit from the 'incredible amount of work, time and money' invested by Pitt and his business partners in growing the brand. 'He [Pitt] did all the work; she did nothing,' a source claimed.'It is worth mentioning that, for the last four years, Nouvel [Jolie's company] did not act in the best interest of Quimicum by systematically delaying the approval of the annual accounts and the renewal of the manager,' the suit states. Jolie's actions are yet 'another example of this person trying to circumvent rules and avoid their obligations,' and that this latest move 'is pretty consistent' with her past behavior, a source close to litigation old Us. Prior to reaching an agreement, Pitt's company alleged that it had made numerous good-faith attempts to settle this issue amicably, but was forced to file a lawsuit to annul the transfer of Quimicum shares, and bring their respective ownerships of the company back to a 60-40 split. The Chateau and the 1,000-acre estate near Aix-en-Provence in which it sits was once the couple's getaway. It also has sentimental value, as it's the place where Pitt and Jolie were married, in front of their six children, in 2014. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized in 2019, but they continue to battle it out over custody of their six children: Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.Just three months ago, in June, Pitt, 57, was awarded joint custody – a decision that Jolie, 46, vowed to fight 'with everything she's got.'

‘Know Your Rights and Claim Them’ has been co-written by Jolie and human rights lawyer Geraldine Van Bueren.Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai recently took to Instagram to praise actor and UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie for her book on children’s rights titled Know Your Rights and Claim Them. Sharing a picture with Angelina, Malala wrote about how proud she is of the actor for penning a book on the topic. She wrote, “I'm proud of my friend Angelina Jolie and Amnesty [International] for writing Know Your Rights, a book to give children the knowledge they need to stand up to injustice in their own lives and around the world.”Malala continued, emphasising the importance of children’s rights, “To the children and young people who are reading this: You have rights that are equal in status to that of any adult. No one has the right to harm you, to silence you, to tell you what to think or believe, to treat you as if you don’t matter, or to prevent you from participating fully in society.” Know Your Rights and Claim Them, co-written with human rights lawyer Geraldine Van Bueren, one of the original drafters of the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, aims to equip kids with the knowledge to safely challenge injustices."So many children are in harm's way across the world and we're simply not doing enough," Angelina told Reuters in an interview. "These are their rights, decided years ago based on what would make them healthy, balanced, safe and stable adults." Angelina said she hoped the book would also remind governments of their commitment to the global treaty enshrining children's civil, social, political and economic rights.During a promotional interview with The Guardian for her book, the Eternals star explained that she wrote the book because she wanted children to understand when their rights were being violated.Angelina shared, “I’ve met too many children who live with the effect of their rights being violated – displaced people, young rape victims. I couldn’t understand why they were still fighting for basic things that were their rights to begin with. It made me very angry. How are we going to solve anything if we’re not addressing that, right?” The actor then went on to relate the topic to her own situation in relation to her legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt, who has been accused of domestic abuse. “Then I had an experience in the States with my own children and I thought... well, human rights, children’s rights,” she shared. She added that this is what caused her to think about children’s rights, saying, “I remembered the rights of the child, and I took them out and looked at them and thought: well, these are for when you’re in a situation and you want to make sure there is support for the children in your life.”
