Daniel Craig’s James Bond topped the list of sexiest male characters with 22 percent of votes followed by comic book characters Chris Hemsworth’s hammer throwing Thor in second (18 percent) and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in third (17 percent).George Clooney as Danny Ocean – from the 2001 heist blockbuster Ocean’s Eleven came in fourth place with 17 percent.The new research by character-centric movie platform www.chili.com reveals how much a hot lead impacts on our movie experience, with 86 percent of Brits chosing to watch a film because they have the hots for the main character.According to the data a third of those polled admitted they would struggle to keep their cool if they met their on-screen crush in real life.And it seems fiction is even sexier than reality with the majority of Brits (52 percent) claiming they fancy sexy characters in films more than the actors who actually play them (48 percent).CHILI founder and CEO, Giorgio Tacchia said: “Our research shows characters make us fall in love with films – some of the biggest hits and most popular franchises are built on the connection film fans feel for the leading man or lady.“People don’t just watch characters, they feel for them, fall for them and even lust after them. At CHILI we help fans get closer to their favourite characters with subscription free access to the big and small screen, original character merchandise, exclusive reviews and all the latest releases in digital form, months before terrestrial TV.” There were more classic female icons in the top ten with Julia Roberts’ Vivian Ward character coming in fourth with 15 percent of the votes and Honor Blackman’s Bond girl Pussy Galore in fifth with 14 percent.Marilyn Monroe’s Sugar Kane Kowalcyzk from Some Like It Hot came in sixth followed by Jane Fonda’s sixties sci-fi sexpot Barbarella (13 percent).Patrick Swayze’s Johnny Castle from Dirty Dancing showed his enduring appeal by securing fifth place and Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow came in sixth.Sean Connery’s portrayal of James Bond may have been overtaken by Daniel Craig’s more modern counterpart but he still finished in the top ten with 16 percent.While Lara Croft was a solid favourite for both sexes, there a split between the genders on the top man.24 percent of women chose Johnny Castle from Dirty Dancing as the sexiest character, whereas only 8 percent of men thought he was an attractive proposition.And 22 percent of women chose grimy Captain Jack, compared to 10 percent of men.And there were also gender disagreements on the survey about women. Only 10 percent of men chose Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman as a sexy choice, whereas 20 percent of women thought she was sexy.

Most of the upcoming fantasy film Come Away was filmed in the UK.But on Saturday star Angelina Jolie was spotted before she shot one of the last scenes of the movie in Los Angeles, dressed in a full length Victorian-style black dress and a blonde bouffant hairdo.It turned out, Saturday was the last day of filming.Two other photos show the former Mrs. Brad Pitt in her street cloths as she hurried along with her new blonde tresses still intact.A third picture shows co-star David Oyelowo arriving on the set.'Our film COME AWAY is now in the can! Last week, the actress was spotted in another regal costume while on set in Los Angeles.Her character Rose's signature blonde bouffant was adorned with a rust color flower and her burnt orange gown flowed behind her as she headed to shoot a scene. The fantasy drama is a retooling of two classic children's tales, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.Angelina and Oyelowo play Rose and Jack, respectively, who are the parents of Peter and Alice.
Come Away has a darker overtone than the cartoon versions of the stories where Peter and Alice work to help their parents overcome the death of one of their children.However, the fantasy drama will still take viewers through the looking glass and to Neverland .The Maleficent star has been busy juggling several projects as she and ex-husband Brad Pitt, 54, continue their ongoing custody battle over their children. Last month the couple reportedly met for a secret meeting after a particularly tense few months in their divorce proceedings.'Brad and Angelina actually set up a secret meeting at her house. It’s the first time they have truly gotten together to make things work since their group therapy with the children,' a source told ET in September.'Brad and Angie’s meeting was a success. The cover of one of this week’s tabloids claims Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s six kids are “trapped” like prisoners in their mom’s home. The story is completely baseless. Gossip Cop can correct it.The estranged spouses have been engaged in a custody battle over their children for quite some time, but according to OK!, the situation is “so much worse than anyone knows.” An alleged insider tells the magazine, “Angelina is determined to come out of this on top, and that means masterminding a new war against Brad to make sure the kids stay with her.” The questionable source goes on to say that Jolie is “spoiling [the kids] with new toys and fun days out,” but the situation looks different behind closed doors. “Angelina has a team of six nannies, four security guards and 14 lawyers indirectly tasked with keeping the kids away from Brad,” says the suspicious tipster. “The word is she has tight security to make sure they don’t try to run away. The nannies keep the kids entertained, but also report back to Angelina if they ask about their dad.” The supposed insider further contends that those close to Pitt fear his estranged wife “could be poisoning [the kids] with lies about their father.” The “source” goes on to say that despite a judge recently ruling it’s important for the children to have a relationship with Pitt, “it doesn’t seem like that’s stopping her from trying to turn them against their dad.” Although Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle has been complicated at at times contentious, the tabloid’s account of events is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who tells us on the condition of anonymity that the magazine’s report is untrue. Jolie isn’t treating her children like prisoners in their own home, nor is she trying to convince them that their father is some sort of villain.People magazine, a much more reputable celebrity news outlet than OK!, also recently reported that Jolie “remains focused on healing her family” and “continues to support the reconciliation of the children with Brad.” E! News similarly noted that Jolie “remains committed to helping the kids heal with” Pitt. There are several issues that need to be worked out in terms of a custody arrangement, but Jolie isn’t vindictively scheming to turn the kids against their father.Additionally, the tabloid has already proven to have very little insight into the situation between the estranged spouses. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for publishing a cover story claiming Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce and renewing their vows. The magazine has completely shifted narratives with this latest report, but it’s no more accurate.
