ANGELINA Jolie is set to adopt an orphan baby from war-torn Syria as a "single mom" say friends. The American actress and estranged husband Brad Pitt had intended to rescue a refugee child together before announcing their split two years ago.But now the Maleficent star, 43, intends to go it alone - even though the couple are still battling over custody of the six children they already have.A source close to Angelina confirmed: "She has always wanted to help an infant from that region and saw no reason why she shouldn't start the adoption ball rolling by herself."Brad admires the fact that divorce is not deterring her from completing the plan they had together. He thinks it's a bold move - and he's promised to support her every step of the way."Earlier this month, child psychologist Stan Katz told Los Angeles Superior Court that an official custody evaluation has already begun over their children: biological Shiloh, 12, 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and adopted Maddox, 17, Pax, 14 and Zahara, 13.They will all be individually interviewed by social workers and attorney Jim Fedalen, an expert in California family law, declared: "They are having their say and what they say could have enormous sway over the court's decision."
Angelina is still pressing for full primary custody with agreed visitation rights for actor Brad, 54, who has said he is "heartbroken" at being separated from their brood for protracted periods.The children could be welcoming a new sibling soon if Angelina's request to adopt another child is accepted by authorities.Her friend said: "She is hoping she'll be able to fast-track the process. In her role as a UN goodwill ambassador, Angelina has seen for herself the nightmarish fate of so many refugees. She has toured orphanages in neighbouring countries and has privately cried over so many children losing their parents."The timing doesn't bother her one bit; she's determined to push ahead with this despite everything else that is happening with her and Brad's other youngsters."

Jennifer Aniston is now caught in a wave of fake news stories that are wrongly linking Angelina Jolie to Justin Theroux romantically. It all began with a tabloid report that’s already been proven to be untrue. Still, a number of outlets are regurgitating the phony premise that Aniston and Brad Pitt‘s exes are dating without bothering to fact-check the claim. And to make matters worse, they’re profiting off the lie. It all began on Wednesday when a completely untrue Life & Style cover story hit newsstands, maintaining Jolie is dating Theroux and Aniston will be “devastated when she finds out.” Gossip Cop actually quickly debunked that made-up narrative, which is why respectable outlets didn’t repeat the fabricated report. A source close to Jolie, on condition on anonymity, assured us the tale about the Oscar-winning actress and “The Leftovers” star going out on dinner dates in New York was pure fiction. Meanwhile, Theroux’s rep, speaking on his behalf, told Gossip Cop on the record that the tabloid’s article was 100 percent “false.” It’s also the same magazine Gossip Cop exposed when it ran covers that wrongly asserted Jolie and Pitt got back together. That was followed by an entirely ludicrous front page report about Jolie getting married to husband number four. Mind you, it’s the same publication that staked its reputation as well on a bogus cover contending Theroux was dating Selena Gomez. Gossip Cop was the first to rightly bust each of those articles and dozens of others about Aniston, Theroux, Jolie and Pitt.
We don’t post articles until we’ve contacted several people related to the claims and have come to a determination. Conversely, outlets such as Celebrity Insider seem to rarely if ever fact-check reports, and instead appear to often just either cut-and-paste concocted articles published elsewhere or spin new angles to them. What’s worse is somehow that site is being rewarded with traffic and presumably revenue for throwing up fake news stories.In this particular case, Celebrity Insider posted two phony articles about the topic within hours of each other. One has the headline, “Angelina Jolie Is Reportedly Eyeing A Relationship With Jennifer Aniston’s Ex-Husband After Brad Pitt Divorce,” while the other is titled, “Angelina Jolie Secretly Dating Justin Theroux? This Could Be Jennifer Aniston’s Worst Nightmare.” In neither of those pieces does the blog mention having contacted anyone connected at all to Jolie, Theroux, or Aniston. Both tales are simply rooted in the already discredited Life & Style cover story from earlier in the week.And this is not an outlier. Just a few weeks ago, Gossip Cop shot down a fake news story from that website, which absurdly alleged Aniston and Theroux were getting back together. We also nailed the blog when it posted a work of fiction about Pitt turning to Aniston to navigate his divorce from Jolie. As opposed to those fabricated reports, in every single one of our pieces, we had on-the-record comments. Unfortunately, if you search for articles about Aniston, you might likely end up with manufactured nonsense, which is why if you want the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, come directly to Gossip Cop.

The president of Venezuela's National Assembly is accusing Angelina Jolie of being a CIA agent a day after the award-winning actress concluded her trip to Peru to meet with refugees who have fled the once prosperous South American nation.'They are agents of imperialism, the CIA, the Pentagon, all of those entities that imperialism has to act and place a tear that runs in rivers for the world to believe that ... they have touched the heart of a Hollywood star,' Diosdado Cabello said Wednesday during his weekly television program.Cabello, a key figure under the Hugo Chavez regime and who has been at the head of the country's parliament since 2012, offered no evidence to confirm his wild claims about Jolie throughout his program a day after she concluded her humanitarian trip.Jolie traveled to Peru on Sunday as a special envoy for the United Nations refugee agency.During her three days in the capital of Lima, the filmmaker and humanitarian huddled up with some of the 400,000 people that have left Venezuela and settled in Peru since 2015. According to United Nations figures, more than 1.9 million that over the last three years have escaped the unstable nation that has been rocked by violence, poverty and government corruption.Cabello, whose parliament is viewed as illegitimate by many countries in the international community, charged that Jolie was better off 'worrying about the 43 million poor people that exist in the United States'.The embattled politico added Jolie should instead focus 'on the children that are being locked up in cages', a reference to minors that have been separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border by Trump administration in observance of the widely unpopular 'zero tolerance' anti-immigration policy the American leader installed in April.The Venezuelan political figure joked about the Hollywood star's inability of pinpointing his country's location on a map.'An actress who loves the people of Venezuela, so much that she loves you that you ask how many inhabitants Venezuela has and she has not the slightest idea, where is Venezuela? I guarantee you do not even know,' Cabello said. The assembly leader also claimed Jolie's visit was a simple ploy to distract attention generated by the mass migrant caravan of almost 10,000 Central Americans who have crossed into southern Mexico and are slowly trekking north towards the border in hopes of receiving asylum from Trump's White House.'They think that we are still a colony because they sent a deceiving actress on the screen to try to deceive the people,' Cabello ranted.'Don't let yourselves be manipulated. Jolie met with Peru's president Martin Vazcara and with Nestor Popolizio, the Foreign Relations Minister, during her three-day venture, and visited a shelter housing refugees and made a trip to the Peru-Ecuador border to witness the daily influx of Venezuelans that have fled their homeland.
