David Oyelowo revealed his children enjoy play dates with his Come Away co-star Angelina Jolie's kids at her home. The actor, 44, shares three sons and one daughter with his wife Jessica, and he revealed on The One Show on Wednesday evening that they often hang out with the actress' six kids and 'tear her house to shreds'.David explained: 'We met at a birthday party several years ago and we got talking exactly about that, she's got six kids and I have four, and you know that's a lot of kids to parent so we really bonded over those discussions.'We had these play dates, ten children running around tearing her house to shreds, but I saw a side of her you rarely get to see on film.'So when this script came my way I shared it with her and thankfully she was open to letting the world see this side of her, the side that is a mother.'Angelina shares children Zahara Marley, 15, and sons Maddox Chivan, 19, Pax Thien, 16, John, 14, twins Vivienne and Knox Léon, 12, with ex Brad Pitt.Going on to talk about their film, David reflected on how trolls have given negative reviews online over their anger that Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland are played by black actors. The Midnight Sky star claimed he wasn't surprised by the racist incident, as he said: 'Unfortunately its not shocking for me because so many stories I try to be a part of telling is trying to move the conversation forward.'I always try to support stories that show people of colour in ways they wouldn't traditionally get to be seen, a film like A United Kingdom where you see the heir to Botswana marrying a white woman in the 40s and going on to be a transcendent leader for their nation. That film got so many racist comments on our Facebook page, we had to take it down. You see what John Boyega has to deal with for playing a black stormtrooper in Star Wars.'Even my friend Ava Duvernay's film A Wrinkle In Time you know she had to deal with review bombing as well.' Detailing his determination to continue in the face of such reaction, he added: 'For me progress is inexorable, you can't stop it and my goal is to normalise these kinds of stories, especially those that are universally appealing to everyone. 'If they are appealing to all of humanity then I believe all of humanity should be reflected within those stories.'

An Instagram star who used makeup and editing to make her face look like a “Zombie Angelina Jolie” was sentenced to a decade in an Iranian prison a year after she was arrested for her social media activities.Sahar Tabar, 19, whose real name is Fatemeh Khishvand, gained nearly 500,000 followers after posting images of her eerily gaunt face.Tabar’s lawyer confirmed his client was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the past few days, the Daily Mail reported. She was charged with corruption of young people and disrespect for the Islamic Republic, according to the Guardian. She was also charged with blasphemy and inciting violence when she was arrested in October 2019 along with three other Instagram influencers. She was cleared of those charges. Iranian state TV broadcast her confession in late October last year. Her attorneys tried to get her released in April after she caught COVID-19 in jail. Her Instagram account was deactivated.“Her joke landed her in jail,” tweeted Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad. “Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter freed.” Medical records showed she had a mental illness, with a history of visits to psychiatric hospitals, making her lengthy sentence less understandable, The Guardian reported. Alinejad even appealed to Jolie, asking the actress and humanitarian activist to help Tabar. “Islamic Republic has a history of tormenting women. We need to be united against this gender apartheid.”

Angelina Jolie had powerful advice for women who fear being abused over the holidays. The 45-year-old actress, as part of her Special Envoy duties with United Nation's for its 16 Days of Activism campaign, told Harper's Bazaar that women should 'talk to someone, try to find allies and be connected for emergencies' in an effort to safeguard themselves and their children amid potentially-violent situations.'For example, you can agree a code word with a friend or family member, which tells them if you are facing an emergency,' Jolie said. 'Begin to build a network and gain knowledge.'The Maleficent actress said that people in a person's immediate circle, unfortunately, might not be always be the quickest to aid: 'It’s sad to say, but you can’t assume all friends and family will always want to believe and support you. Often it will be strangers who help. Or other victims, support groups, or faith groups.' The Oscar-winner stressed that 'above all,' women need to 'be careful' depending on the situation they are in.'Only you really know the danger you are in, and until you find your support outside, you may feel quite alone,' said the Come Away star. She said that for people who are confided in about abuse, people should 'take it seriously and stand by them, listen to them' and not 'judge them.'Try to understand the huge emotional, financial and legal pressures they are likely facing, including the pressure to stay silent about what has happened to them. And be aware that they may well be suffering trauma and PTSD.' She also shared insights to help people who suspect a friend, relative or child might be a victim of domestic abuse. 'If it has even crossed your mind that someone you know might be vulnerable in this way, try to stay close and present in their lives,' Jolie said. 'Make it clear that you are there for them. 'Another thing we can all do is educate ourselves. Learn about domestic violence. Learn how trauma affects our health and can lead to biological changes, particularly in children. Take these issues seriously.'Jolie last month spoke in Seoul at the Second International Conference on Action with Women and Peace for the UNHCR. She said 'that domestic violence has grown sharply worse during the pandemic; and that the number of people displaced by conflict and persecution - over half of them women and children - has doubled in a decade.' The UN reported that prior to the COVID-19 shutdown, as many as 243 million females were abused by their partner, with less than 40 percent reporting the abuse. 'Paranoid' Angelina Jolie Lives In 'Constant Fear' Her Kids Will Get Kidnapped

Does “paranoid” Angelina Jolie live in “constant fear” that one of her six children could be kidnapped and held for ransom? One tabloid quoted a former bodyguard who said, “It’s all about money.” Gossip Cop looked into the claims and came to a judgment of our own. Angelina Jolie In "Constant Fear?" “Paranoid Angie Fears Kids In The Crosshairs” read the sensationalized headline out of the National Enquirer. The tabloid insisted Angelina Jolie lived “in constant fear” that one of her children would be targeted in a kidnapping or a ransom attempt. According to a “former bodyguard,” Mark “Billy” Billingham, “It’s all about the money.” Billingham is perhaps best known for his stint on SAS Australia, a reality series where celebrities are put through physical and psychological tests from an elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers. His biggest claim to fame, however, is the fact that he worked for Jolie back when she and Brad Pitt were still together for a year and a half. According to the tabloid, he’s spent that time “patrolling the perimeter” for the family. Billingham asserted that Jolie feared that her and Pitt’s combined fortune “provided plenty of incentive” for would-be-criminals to target her children.“Angie and Brad are very worried about who goes near the children,” Billingham continued. The tabloid never goes into detail about how Jolie was supposedly “paranoid,” or why the assessment of a former member of Jolie’s security team has any relevance now. According to Billingham and the tabloid’s own admission, he worked for the family nearly five years ago. Why bring this up now as if it's something happening currently? Besides, Jolie has reason to worry about her children’s safety. She’s a very visible public figure, so it makes sense that she’d do everything she could to protect her kids. That’s just what any mother would do. Nothing about that makes her “paranoid” or is proof that she lives in “constant fear” as the outlet suggested. There’s no evidence that Jolie is doing anything out of the ordinary for a mother in her position to look after her kids. The Enquirer has long held a barely concealed disdain for Angelina Jolie and it’s evident in every story about the actress that the tabloid publishes. Last year the tabloid reported that Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, was “begging” her father Brad Pitt to save her. Gossip Cop checked in with our own source close to the situation who assured us the rumor was not true. Just a few months back, the tabloid accused Jolie of deliberately starving herself as a twisted way to force Pitt to capitulate to her child custody demands in court. That couldn’t be further from the truth, we found. This tabloid has lost all semblance of decency.
