A home in Sydney's Balmain, which was rented by Angelina Jolie when she filmed Unbroken in 2014, has hit the market for $11million.The Hollywood actress, 46, hired the property to use its private jetty to board a boat to Cockatoo Island to film scenes for the war movie.Angelina was able to leave the house unnoticed because the cul-de-sac can only be accessed by two other residences.Modern House real estate agent Marcus Lloyd-Jones told Domain the home was 'incredibly private'.'[Angelina] was driven into the five-car garage, she would walk along the jetty, jump on whatever boat it was and go to Cockatoo Island to direct the movie and back the same way,' he explained.The property was designed by Nordon Jago Architects.There are five bedrooms, spacious living areas, a study, library and private guest suite.The home also features underfloor heating and high ceilings throughout, and the kitchen has a generous butler's pantry.The property has a private beach and harbourside lawn, as well as a 21.5 metre lap pool and spa.Unbroken is a 2014 American war film produced and directed by Angelina.Based on the biography by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken tells the story of aviator Louis Zamperini, a former Olympian who spent 47 days marooned on raft after his plane crashed into the Pacific.It was filmed in Queensland, while some scenes were shot at sea in Moreton Bay and the coal scenes were filmed at Cockatoo Island.
