Brad Pitt says that he and Angelina Jolie's six kids—Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6—didn't embarrass America when they met the Queen of England during Jolie's dame ceremony earlier this month."That was a lovely day for our whole family. We were offered the opportunity to bring the kids in to meet the Queen afterwards, and I have to say I have never seen them so still and respectful in my whole life," Pitt, 50, told Hello! Magazine. "To see them bowing and curtseying and saying 'Your Majesty' was an absolute delight."Meeting the kings and queens of the world's most powerful countries builds character, Pitt opined."Travel is the best education there is," he said. "I had never been on a plane till I was 24 or 25, so when I started to travel abroad, whether it was to Netherlands or Tokyo or Belgium, it was all such an experience."Pitt's upcoming movie "By the Sea," written and directed by Jolie, took the "Moneyball" star to Malta, where he was forced to speak French for the role."I think my French is pretty good, so my writer/director put a lot of the language into the script and we'll see how I do," he said. "My writer/director is tough as nails, as you know."Jolie's "Unbroken," which she directed and produced, hits theaters later this year and may compete with Pitt's "Fury" at the Academy Awards. The prospect of battling his wife for an Oscar doesn't bother Pitt, however."I often end up with movies competing with my friends' movies and I always feel that it's great when we all make it there," he said. "I am immensely proud of Angie, she's made an incredible movie, which is a big story about the triumph of the human spirit - we're certainly not pitted against each other and I hope 'Unbroken' gets all the recognition it deserves."

Even the Queen of England thinks Angelina Jolie needs to eat a hamburger! Earlier this month Angelina Jolie visited Buckingham Palace to accept an honorary Dame award from Queen Elizabeth for her humanitarian work, now insiders are revealing that the Queen and Angie had a very candid conversation about Angelina’s eating habits. The Queen fears Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton is headed down the same path as Jolie, and multiple reports have revealed that Queen Elizabeth is unhappy with Kate’s weight – especially now that she has a royal bun in the oven.Queen Elizabeth may be 88 years old, but she still has eyes like a hawk, and was quick to notice Angelina Jolie’s boney extremities and frail figure when she awarded her the Honorary Dame Grand Cross. We all know how much Brad Pitt loves talking about Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston — so when he appeared on the latest episode of Zach Galifianakis’s intentionally awkward “Between Two Ferns” Funny or Die talk show, it was as excellent as you would expect.Pitt, on hand to promote his movie “Fury,” mostly stared at the ceiling in silence as Galifianakis hurled all kinds of uncomfortable questions his way.“Is it hard for you to maintain a suntan — because you live in your wife’s shadow?” Galifianakis asked. Pitt looked away, trying really hard not to laugh, and aggressively chewed a piece of gum.Galifianakis followed that with a query about Pitt’s ex-wife and her most famous sitcom role. “Tell me what it was like the first time you laid eyes on Angelina,” he asked. “Was it, like, one of those classical love stories — like, I don’t know — when Ross first saw Rachel? You know that show ‘Friends,’ have you seen that?”He hit a button and the “Friends” theme song started playing. “I like that song,” Pitt mumbled softly, still attempting not to crack up.

Billy Bob Thornton's relationship with Angelina Jolie sounded pretty out there at the time.Now, the Fargo actor is setting the record straight about his "whirlwind" relationship with Jolie, although he does admit that time of his life was "pretty crazy." Talking with The Hollywood Reporter, Thornton, 59, explained the "vials of blood" that he and Brad Pitt's current wife became notorious for during the early 2000s, weren't all that they seemed."I mean it was a crazy time. I've never been fond of it," the actor explained. "[The] vial of blood is very simple. You know those lockets you buy that are clear and you put a picture of your grannie in and wear it around your neck? She bought two of those," he told the outlet."We were apart a lot because she's off making Tomb Raider and I'm making Monster’s Ball. She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razorblade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck just like you wear your son or daughter’s baby hair in one. Same thing. From that, we were wearing quart jars of blood around our necks. And we were vampires and we lived in a dungeon." There was, in fact, no dungeon, Thornton insists. Reports suggesting there were, were the result of selective hearing."I mean, it had some basis in fact. We had a basement which I had a recording studio in. So when I tell a journalist I stay down in the dungeon all the time, you know, recording music, they don’t hear 'recording music,' they hear 'dungeon,'" he explained. "You know, because it makes a better story." Jolie and Thornton were married for 3 years between 2000 and 2003. In 2012 the actor told ABC's Nightline he still had a lot of affection for Jolie."We had a great time together," he said. "We had a great marriage and I chickened out because I didn't feel good enough. That's all that happened. It was no big deal, we never hated each other."
