The award-winning star was friends with the A-lister's mother Marcheline Bertrand who passed away from breast cancer in 2007 . Actress Jacqueline Bissett has opened up about her friendship with Hollywood star Angelina Jolie .The Golden Globe winner was on Loose Women when she admitted she couldn't believe how the star juggles her busy life."Six children, a husband, a career, and directing I don't know how she does it. I don't know how any human being can do that."What I admire is that she carries a kind of quality of peace that just emanates from her." The 71-year-old, who was close friends with Angelina's mother Marcheline Bertrand who passed away from breast cancer in 2007, said that although she is godparent to Angelina she "rarely" sees her because she doesn't want to bother her."Unfortunately I haven't developed a close relationship with Angelina, I see her rarely but I'm very admiring of her."What I find difficult is she's become so famous. So many people are pulling on her time, I'm a little bit shy and I don't want to be someone who tries to take advantage of her."Occasionally people say to me, 'Oh you know Angelina Jolie', and I say 'no she needs her space and she needs to do her number' but she's pretty remarkable." Jacqueline stars in the recent film Miss You Already alongside Toni Colette and Drew Barrymore , who also appeared on the ITV chat show just last week. There are some perks to having a major Hollywood star as a friend, as Jacqueline revealed she was all set to make a cameo in 2005 hit Mr and Mrs Smith but was left on the cutting room floor."I played a very small part in her film, Mr and Mrs Smith, I was supposed to be Brad Pitt's boss and Terry Stamp was her boss."But it didn't work out, they cut us, they didn't like two English people or something, and they put two African-Americans in and they didn't like them either and then it never ended up in the film."But I watched her on the set and she was so together, she was just joyful and friendly and amazing and I thought this woman's going to be a director."

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ready to take their huge family to the UK? Recent reports say that the Hollywood A-Listers are now looking for a new home in the country, hopefully in the same area where George and Amal Clooney live.According to Daily Mirror, the move will be just in time for his filming for "The Fury" in the same country. The couple is reportedly considering the Sonning area, which is only three miles away from Reading where George and Amal's home is located. The location is said to be ideal for the famous family since they will still have the luxury of privacy there. The village recently got the reputation of being a haven for celebrities since it's still near London, yet it has a country feel that could appeal to famous personalities.
Brad and Angelina have numerous properties all over the world, but will their soon-to-be home in the UK be the place where they settle? The family makes it a point to spend as much time together as possible wherever they are, and that is evident whenever they go on fun getaways every time Brad and Angelina take a break from filming.Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina's family hasn't stopped growing! Daily Mail reports that the couple wants to adopt a Syrian orphan. The couple met up with three Syrian siblings who were orphaned, and Angelina allegedly wanted to adopt all three. Brad had to stop her though, since he believed that it might be hard for their kids to adjust to the sudden change in dynamic, reports claim. The couple reportedly talked things through and decided to adopt just one. This isn't a surprise move to those who are following the family, especially that Angelina is a UN Special Envoy for Refugees. The actress has traveled to the war-stricken country several times to provide support and care to the refugees.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will soon make a comeback on the big screen with "Jazbaa", but it has been learnt that the former Miss World was not director Sanjay Gupta's first choice for the film.During a Twitter chat with The Times of India on Thursday, Gupta stated that he had considered Angelina Jolie for the role before finalising Aishwarya. The director was asked if he had considered any other actress for "Jazbaa", to which he replied, "#AngelinaJolie, but when I got Ash on board I didn't bother with her #SanjayGuptaChat @TOIEntertain (sic)." However, in reply to another question, Gupta suggested that Aishwarya was best suited for the role. When asked the reason behind casting the "Jodhaa Akbar" actress, the director said, "Why not Aishwarya for #Jazbaa. Wanted the best, went for the best @TOIEntertain #SanjayGuptaChat (sic)." Earlier, during an interview with The Indian Express, Gupta had stated that Aishwarya was not on his mind initially, but he roped her in after having a discussion with Abhishek Bachchan."I didn't think of Aishwarya originally, but as Abhishek and I were chatting, I casually told him about the idea of a film that demanded a star-female actor who was the hero of the story. When he bounced off the idea with her, she was game," the daily quoted the "Jazbaa" director as saying.Although Gupta stated that his first choice was Angelina Jolie, it is possible that he was being sarcastic. The movie, "Jazbaa", features Irrfan Khan along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and is slated to be released on 9 October.

"Make sure your name is on the list so you can vote on election day"Angelina Jolie Pitt has appeared in a voter awareness campaign video urging Burma’s citizens to vote in upcoming historic elections. In the video, released by the Burmese government’s electoral body, the Hollywood actress tells the people of Burma, officially now known as Myanmar, to check voter lists and ensure they and their families are registered to vote, reports local independent news outlet Democratic Voice of Burma.“I know from my visit how important these elections are. I want to urge you to exercise your right to vote and be counted on Nov. 8,” the 40-year-old said in the video posted to the Union Electoral Commission’s Facebook page. “Don’t get left behind. Be a part of this historic moment. Go out and check the voter lists in your communities, make sure your name is on the list so you can vote on election day.” Jolie serves as the U.N. refugee agency’s special envoy and visited Burma in July, where she spoke with displaced families in the country’s troubled northern Kachin state and met President Thein Sein and democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi.Some 32 million people (out of a population of just over 50 million) are considered eligible to vote in the country’s first general elections since 2010, when a nominally civilian government ended a half-century of oppressive military rule. However, concerns remain that a quarter of parliamentary seats are still reserved for the armed forces as well as the systematic disenfranchisement of certain minority groups.
