Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively want to be Brangelina, claims Star.The magazine says the couple is “totally obsessed with becoming the next Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,” and are “carefully following in the footsteps of their A-list power couple idols.”Huh?“Ryan and Blake get extremely excited when people tell them they remind them of Brad and Angelina,” a so-called “insider” tells Star. “They love how Brad and Angie live their lives, and they go out of their way to mirror them.” How so? Well, both couples have homes outside of Hollywood.Oh, and Reynolds and Pitt both like art and motorcycles.Star also points out that the new couples have the same 11-year age gap.And… Reynolds and Lively may one day have a big family, like Jolie and Pitt, says the magazine.If this sounds like a completely absurd comparison between the two couples, that’s because it’s coming from the same outlet that wrongly thinks Jolie went to rehab, Pitt wears Spanx, and Reynolds controls Lively.In fact, the thing that most closely binds the two pairs is that Star keeps getting stuff wrong about all of them.Regardless, a source close to Reynolds and Lively called the new report “ridiculous” and a “joke.”

Amber Heard wouldn’t want to lead a celebrity lifestyle and therefore keeps her relationship with Johnny Depp under wraps.The actress is currently dating her Rum Diaries co-star Johnny Depp but chooses to keep her romantic life private.The star also avoids celebrity hangouts and sticks to running her own errands in an effort to remain normal.“It’s not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don’t want to be a celebrity,” she told Flare magazine. “You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub.“Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West?” The thespian admits she is not willing to hide her relationship with Johnny. But she’s reluctant to give too much of an insight. Amber fears doing so would fuel the public’s need to know what goes on behind closed doors.“Where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life,” she continued. “I would never want it… I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be?“I don’t want to change just because people are watching. I’ve always been the person who says what she wants.”Amber’s latest film sees her star alongside Miley Cyrus’ fiancé Liam Hemsworth.She picked her role because of the depth involved with the character she portrayed.“I loved how you’re dealing with a lot of old themes like greed and power, but it’s such a modern story,” she explained. “My character basically had to be smart enough to manipulate Liam Hemsworth’s character. Yes, there are sex scenes, but it wasn’t like she was falling at his feet.”

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has made a surprise 24 hour visit to Sydney, leaving on a private jet Thursday morning.Photographs of Angelina in trademark black boots, black leggings and black aviator style sunglasses with her hair pulled back and carrying a giant beige Birkin bag boarding a private jet early Thursday morning at Sydney airport are set to appear in a woman's magazine next week.The reason for the mystery visit is unclear and follows on from a whirlwind visit made by Brad Pitt last month to promote his film World War Z at The Star.It is believed Jolie flew into Sydney on Wednesday with her adopted son Pax on a commercial flight from Tokyo.Pax was reported to have been recognised carrying his now infamous giant purple teddy bear, regularly seen in his arms as they are photographed traipsing through airports around the world.Jolie and Pitt, who have six children including Pax, 9, Maddox, 11, Sahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and four year old twins Vivienne and Knox were reported to be looking for a property in Sydney earlier this year with rumours Pitt would star in the David Fincher film, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, although Pitt denied these rumours in June.The Australian government announced in April it will give the film studio a one-off incentive of A$21.6 million to shoot the film remake of the classic novel with then Prime Minister Julia Gillard saying the deal was expected to create up to 2,000 jobs in the country.The shoot was planned for 2014 however reports have since surfaced the Australian based shoot may be scrapped.The couple were reported to be checking out rental properties in Palm Beach at the time.Rumours also circulated they were considering a base on Stradbroke Island.Jolie has also been scouting locations for her upcoming project, Unbroken, in Hawaii this month.The film which will be based on the WW2 novel by Laura Lillenbrand is the heroic tale of Olympican-turned prisoner of war Louis Zamperini and will be Angelina's second directorial effort since she filmed In the Land of Blood and Honey in 2011.Jolie, who had a double mastectomy earlier this year to reduce the risk of breast cancer, was announced this week as the highest paid actress on Forbes magazines 2013 list of Hollywood's highest earning actresses despite failing to star in a film since 2010's The Tourist.Jolie is estimated to have pocketed $US33 million in the last financial year.
